7-Eleven’s Halloween deals bring $7.11 pizzas and $1.25 candy. Plus, Sour Patch Kids trick candy, Baja Blast through 2036, a Toblerone cake at Costco and Trader Joe’s jammy eggs.
Halloween dinner just got cheap, at least at 7-Eleven.
The convenience store chain is rolling out Halloween food deals across 7-Eleven, Speedway and its restaurant brands, Sporked reported. The headliner is a whole pizza for $7.11.
Here’s how to get it, plus seven more new things to eat and drink this week.
How do you get a $7.11 pizza at 7-Eleven?
Be a loyalty member. On Oct. 30 and 31, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can buy whole pizzas for $7.11 each at participating stores, according to Sporked.
The pizzas use 7-Eleven’s new crispy, bubbly crust. There’s no stated limit on how many you can buy.
The 7NOW delivery app has large pizzas for $7.11 on the same two days. On Halloween, promo code TREAT takes $10 off a delivery order of $20 or more.
What other 7-Eleven Halloween deals are there?
Buy-one-get-one deals, mostly, all on Oct. 30 and 31:
Laredo Taco Company: BOGO quesadillas at participating restaurants
Raise the Roost: BOGO 8-piece chicken nuggets
Speedy Cafe: BOGO large one-topping pizzas for Speedy Rewards members
Candy is on sale longer. From Oct. 23 through Nov. 2, loyalty members can pick up select candy for $1.25 each, Sporked reported. The lineup includes Reese’s, Kit Kat, Snickers, Twix and Starburst.
Check that your local store is participating before you make a special trip.
What are Sour Patch Kids Tricksters?
Candy that lies to you. The new Sour Patch Kids Tricksters look like familiar flavors, but you might bite into something completely different, Sporked reported.
They’re one of three new Halloween treats from the brand:
Tricksters: 3.52-ounce theater box, suggested price $1.50
Glow Ups Ghosts: Orange and Peach flavors with edible confetti that glows under blacklight, thanks to turmeric extract, in an 8.37-ounce pack for $4.29
Monster Parts: monster-shaped Black Raspberry, Orange and Watermelon gummies in an 8.88-ounce bag for $4.29
Actual prices vary by store. Look for them in seasonal candy aisles.
Is Baja Blast leaving Taco Bell?
Nope, not for a long time. Taco Bell and PepsiCo renewed their drink partnership through 2036, PepsiCo announced Oct. 22, according to Sporked.
That keeps Mountain Dew Baja Blast, Baja Midnight, Pepsi, Pepsi Zero Sugar, Mountain Dew and Starry flowing at participating U.S. Taco Bell, Taco Bell Cantina and Live Mas Cafe locations.
Baja Blast debuted in 2004 and has grown into a billion-dollar brand. There’s a bonus, too. Doritos Locos Tacos turns 15 in 2027, and the companies plan new flavors to celebrate, though they haven’t said which.
What is the Toblerone cake at Costco?
A frozen Toblerone Chocolate Cake from Swedish dessert brand Almondy, Sporked reported. It costs $15.99 at Costco, though availability varies by warehouse.
The 35.27-ounce cake comes pre-sliced and is gluten-free. It starts with a crisp almond base, then adds chocolate cream, milk chocolate and crunchy Toblerone pieces.
Thaw the whole cake 40 to 50 minutes at room temperature, or about 20 minutes for a slice or two.
Why are Trader Joe’s jammy eggs controversial?
The price. Chino Valley Ranchers’ The Jammy Egg costs $3.99 for four at Trader Joe’s, Sporked reported. That’s about $1 an egg.
The cage-free eggs come cooked, peeled and individually wrapped. Eat them cold or warm them in boiling water for about 30 seconds.
Redditors are split. “These are pricey but pretty delicious!” one shopper wrote. Others said the eggs are great for dressing up ramen.
Is Costco’s Kirkland butter now made by Kerrygold’s supplier?
Sort of. Irish dairy company Tirlan is now the wholesale supplier of Costco’s Kirkland Signature Grass-Fed Butter, Sporked reported. Kerrygold’s parent company sources some of its dairy from Tirlan.
The Kirkland butter costs $4 less than Kerrygold at Costco. Earlier versions came from New Zealand, and that’s no longer listed on the boxes.
What else is new at Costco and Sam’s Club this week?
At Costco, Kirkland Signature Eggnog Liqueur is back for the holidays, Sporked reported. Graza’s new garlic hummus also arrived in a Costco-sized tub, with garlic confit and chives.
At Sam’s Club, the fan-favorite Member’s Mark Pineapple Jalapeno Popper Dip has returned after a break, Sporked reported. Planters Maple Brown Sugar Almonds and Siete Mini Grain-Free Bunuelos Cinnamon Crisps are new, too.
