7-Eleven’s Flavors of Korea menu has gochujang wings, spicy dumplings and Korean BBQ pizza. Starting Monday, Nov. 2, a seven-episode mini K-drama shot inside a real 7-Eleven starts dropping online.
Your late-night 7-Eleven run just got a plot. The convenience store chain has a new Flavors of Korea menu, and it’s promoting it with something you don’t see every day at a gas station: its own K-drama.
7-Eleven, Inc. announced the menu on Wednesday, Oct. 28. It’s at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores for a limited time. The mini-series starts Monday, Nov. 2.
What’s on the 7-Eleven Flavors of Korea menu?
Here’s the lineup from 7-Eleven’s announcement, with the prices it listed:
bibigo Spicy Chicken Dumplings: 10 pieces for $5. 7-Eleven calls them “bite-sized dumplings that deliver a spicy, savory kick.”
Gochujang Boneless Wings: 8 pieces for $5, with a gochujang glaze and garlic.
bibigo Korean BBQ-Style Pizza: seasoned beef, caramelized onions, shoestring carrots, roasted garlic and green onions with bibigo Korean BBQ sauce, per Sporked.
K Town Chicken Salad Sando: chicken salad with gochujang, celery, toasted sesame oil and ponzu on swirled bread.
Korean-Style BBQ Sauced Taquito: chicken, onions, red bell peppers and Monterey Jack with K-BBQ sauce.
K Noodle Salad: chilled somen noodles with carrots, napa cabbage and kimchi, topped with gochujang dressing.
Korean Style BBQ Seasoned Sausage: a roller grill sausage seasoned with brown sugar, onion, garlic, soy sauce and ginger.
Seoul Style Sweet Heat Chicken Sandwich: only at stores with Raise the Roost chicken.
Prices for the other items weren’t listed. Bibigo’s sauces are also at the stores’ BiG Flavor Bar, per 7-Eleven’s menu page.
What is the 7-Eleven K-drama called?
Adweek and the social media site WeRSM both report the series is called A Convenient Love. 7-Eleven’s own announcement doesn’t use the title, so treat it as reported for now.
Here’s what 7-Eleven did confirm. The series has seven vertical episodes, each 60 seconds long. It “follows two classmates and 7-Eleven regulars whose lives become intertwined during late-night snack runs.”
It was shot inside a real 7-Eleven and directed by Danny Lee. No cast has been announced.
I love this!
Where can you watch it, and when?
New episodes drop every Monday and Thursday from Nov. 2 through Nov. 23, according to 7-Eleven. They air on the 7-Eleven and Speedway Instagram and TikTok accounts.
By our math, that’s Nov. 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19 and 23.
7-Eleven says each episode will come with a limited-time discount on a menu item that gets the spotlight. It hasn’t said how big the discounts are.
Why would 7-Eleven make a K-drama?
Because convenience store scenes are basically a K-drama tradition. Midnight noodles at a corner store is a whole mood.
Lee said as much in 7-Eleven’s announcement. “K-dramas run on heightened moments,” he said. He added that some of the most memorable ones happen over a late-night meal at a convenience store.
“We built 7 vertical episodes around it and shot all of them in a real 7-Eleven with the food at every turning point,” Lee said.
Will the dumplings get a slow-motion close-up? We’d be let down if not.
Is there a 7Rewards deal on the Korean menu?
There is. 7-Eleven says 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can add any 20-ounce Coke or Pepsi drink for $1 with qualifying food from the menu, plus tax.
The fine print says the offers run from Oct. 28 through Jan. 5, 2027. That’s the deal window. 7-Eleven didn’t give a hard end date for the menu itself, so if you like something, don’t wait too long.
What did 7-Eleven say about the menu?
Brandon Brown, 7-Eleven’s senior vice president of fresh foods and beverages, gave the company line.
“At 7-Eleven, we believe that exploring global flavors should be easy and exciting,” Brown said. He said the menu gives customers more ways to try Korean-inspired food, whether it’s brand new to them or a twist on a favorite.
Has 7-Eleven sold Korean food before?
It has, on a smaller scale. In October 2021, 7-Eleven rolled out a Korean BBQ Chicken Taquito, according to a company press release from the time. It has also sold Korean BBQ wings.
This time, it built a whole menu, and a TV-style show, around the idea.
7-Eleven says it runs more than 12,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Not every store will carry every item, so check the 7-Eleven app or ask at your local store.
