ABC set its winter 2027 calendar Friday. High Potential and Will Trent return Jan. 5, The Rookie gets a spinoff, and The Bachelor lands on a Sunday night in March.
ABC just handed TV fans a calendar to tape to the fridge.
The network revealed its midseason premiere dates on Friday, Nov. 6. The lineup starts Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2027, with Will Trent and High Potential. It runs all the way to a Sunday night in March, when The Bachelor comes back for Season 30.
That last one is the eyebrow raiser. According to Deadline, the long-running dating show is moving to Sundays for the first time.
There’s a new cop show too. The Rookie is getting a spinoff called The Rookie: North, and it debuts right after the mothership on Jan. 6.
ABC also posted a promo for one of the season’s biggest nights. Here’s the High Potential Super Bowl teaser from ABC:
When does High Potential Season 3 premiere?
High Potential Season 3 premieres Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. ET. Kaitlin Olson is back as Morgan, the single mom with a 160 IQ who helps the police crack cases.

The Bachelor Season 30 premieres Sunday, March 21, 2027, at 8:01 p.m. ET. It sits between America’s Funniest Home Videos at 7 p.m. and What Would You Do? Season 18 at 10:01 p.m.
ABC didn’t name the new Bachelor in the announcement. So the guessing game goes on, which is basically the show’s favorite sport anyway.
When does American Idol Season 25 start?
American Idol turns 25, and ABC is throwing it a party first. A two-hour special with the working title American Idol at 25 airs Feb. 1 at 8 p.m.
Season 25 premieres a week later, on Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. That same night, Shark Tank swims over to Mondays at 10 p.m.

Surviving a Scandal is a new docuseries from ABC News Studios. According to Give Me My Remote, it looks back at people from the 1980s and 2000s whose private lives turned into tabloid fodder. Names in the announcement include Milli Vanilli, Octomom and Joey Buttafuoco.
It airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m., an hour made for people who can’t look away.
Where can you stream ABC’s midseason shows?
Parade reports that ABC’s original shows stream the next day on Hulu.
