Alani Nu’s holiday energy drink, Winter Wonderland, is back for 2026 as a sugar cookie flavor, per a snack hunter who found it at Five Below. A wider rollout is expected around Halloween.
Alani Nu‘s holiday drink is changing flavors again.
This year’s Winter Wonderland energy drink is a sugar cookie flavor, according to snack account Snackolator. The account says it found a can at Five Below on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
It’s expected to roll out nationwide around Halloween, Snackolator said, though a few smaller stores already have it.
Alani Nu hasn’t officially announced the 2026 flavor yet.
What flavor is Alani Nu Winter Wonderland in 2026?
Sugar cookie, according to Snackolator. That’s a big change from last year’s fruity version.
The can design is also new.
What did Winter Wonderland taste like before?
It’s been a different drink almost every year. Alani Nu described the 2025 version as “frosted sugar plums and cranberry pearls,” according to Sporked.
Sporked’s reviewer said that one tasted mostly like cranberry and gave it an 8 out of 10. It also came in a new can and a new formula.
The 2024 version was a coconut and berry blend that a leaked graphic called Coco Berry Bliss. Sporked compared it to Red Bull‘s Coconut Berry, and its reviewer wasn’t a big fan.
When will Alani Nu Winter Wonderland be in stores?
Around the end of October, if Snackolator is right. The account said the drink should be nationwide around Halloween.
Earlier this year, Snackolator posted that Winter Wonderland was on Alani Nu’s calendar for November, with Witch’s Brew returning in August.
Last year, Sporked’s reviewer got an early can at an industry expo and posted a review in early November. So a late October launch would fit the pattern.
Where can you buy Alani Nu Winter Wonderland?
Five Below is one early spot. Alani Nu drinks are usually sold at big retailers like Walmart and Target, plus grocery stores, gas stations, and online.
Snackolator said it should come in both single cans and full cases. If you’re hunting for one now, smaller stores and discount chains may be your best bet.
How much caffeine is in Alani Nu energy drinks?
A lot. A standard 12-ounce can of Alani Nu has 200 milligrams of caffeine, with zero sugar and about 10 calories, according to retail listings for Winter Wonderland.
That’s about the same as two cups of coffee. Energy drinks aren’t recommended for kids, so keep this one on the grown-up shelf.
Who owns Alani Nu?
Celsius Holdings, the company behind Celsius energy drinks. Celsius bought Alani Nu in 2025.
Fitness influencer Katy Hearn co-founded Alani Nu in 2018. The brand is known for colorful cans and limited-edition flavors, including Halloween’s Witch’s Brew.
What other Alani Nu flavors came out in 2026?
Plenty. Alani Nu made Cotton Candy, Strawberry Sunrise, and Sherbet Swirl permanent flavors this year, Sporked reported.
It also planned new limited-time flavors like Cherry Bomb and Lime Slush, plus the return of Witch’s Brew and Winter Wonderland.
Is a sugar cookie energy drink a good idea?
Fans will soon find out. Sugar cookie is a classic holiday flavor, and it’s more of a dessert than last year’s fruity version.
Holiday drinks like Starbucks’ Sugar Cookie Oatmilk Latte have shown that sugar cookie fans are out there. If Alani Nu nails it, Winter Wonderland could be a hit by the time the holidays roll around.
