Aldi’s new Merry Moments Figurine Glass Sippers come in bear and penguin shapes for $4.99, a cheaper take on Starbucks’ viral Bearista cup. They arrive Oct. 21 with more holiday kitchen finds.
The bear cup craze is back, and this time it costs $4.99.
Aldi will sell Merry Moments Figurine Glass Sippers shaped like bears and penguins starting Wednesday, Oct. 21, according to Aldi’s website. They’re part of a big Holiday Kitchen drop of Aldi Finds hitting stores the same day.
Shoppers will likely spot the resemblance right away. The bear sipper looks a lot like the Starbucks Bearista cup that caused a frenzy last holiday season.
What do the Aldi glass sippers look like?
There are four. Aldi’s site lists a pink bear, a blue bear, a green penguin and a purple penguin, each for $4.99.
Aldi hasn’t posted detailed descriptions or sizes online yet. Product photos should give a better look once the items hit stores.
Are the Aldi bear cups like the Starbucks Bearista cup?
They look similar, but Aldi hasn’t said they’re inspired by Starbucks. The Starbucks Bearista cup was a glass cup shaped like a bear wearing a Starbucks beanie, and it cost $29.95, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.
It launched Nov. 6, 2025, and sold out almost everywhere right away. Some fans lined up overnight, and resale listings on eBay jumped as high as $350.
“The excitement for our merchandise exceeded even our biggest expectations,” a Starbucks spokesperson said at the time.
Has Aldi sold bear cups before?
Yes. Last year, Aldi sold its own lookalike for about $5 while Starbucks fans fought over the real thing, Nation’s Restaurant News reported. Walmart also had a version for about $15.
Now Aldi is getting ahead of the holiday rush with an Oct. 21 release.
What other Aldi Holiday Kitchen items come out Oct. 21?
A lot. Here are some of the highlights on Aldi’s website:
Double Wall Icon Glasses, $4.99, with a Christmas tree, dog, gift box, gingerbread man, red bow or skier
3D Christmas Mugs, $3.99, shaped like gingerbread houses, a gingerbread man, trees and a teddy bear
Crofton Christmas Cookie Jars, $12.99, including a bear, a gingerbread house and a red present
Holiday Kitchen Towels, $4.99, in bow and ornament designs

Holiday Ceramic Baking Dishes, $9.99, including a candy cane pie dish and a gingerbread house baking dish

Are there Aldi holiday baking tools too?
Yes. Aldi’s Merry Moments Holiday Sugar line includes measuring cups and measuring spoons for $5.99, in gingerbread, tree, candy cane and present designs.
There are also 2-pack ramekin sets for $5.99, a “Santa milk and” cookie set for $5.99, and Crofton Holiday Cooling Racks for $5.99. The racks come in four shapes, including a gingerbread man, tree, ornament, and rectangle with holiday corner trim.
What else is in Aldi’s holiday kitchen collection?
Plenty of serving pieces and decor. Christmas character bowls and plates, shaped like gingerbread men and trees, are $4.99 each.
Enamel-handled acacia utensils are $3.99.

Holiday comfort mats are $8.99
How can you get the Aldi bear sipper?
Shop early. Aldi Finds are limited and sold only while supplies last, and popular items can disappear on day one.
Aldi says online pricing and availability may vary by store. Your local store’s prices could differ from what’s listed online, so check the Aldi app before you go.
Last year’s Bearista cups sold out almost immediately at many Starbucks stores, so plan to get there when your Aldi opens.
