Aldi Finds starting Oct. 14 include $6.99 Disney Princess and Toy Story 5 books that come with four figures, plus $4.99 Disney Princess and Cars plates. We checked what similar books cost elsewhere.
Aldi has a cheap gift coming for little Disney fans.
Starting Wednesday, Oct. 14, Aldi’s weekly Aldi Finds include kids’ books that come with four character figures, for $6.99, according to Aldi Reviewer, an unofficial Aldi blog that posts each week’s ad early. Two of the five versions are Disney Princesses and Toy Story 5.
Aldi’s own Upcoming Aldi Finds page lists the sale week as Oct. 14 to 20.
What Disney items are at Aldi on Oct. 14?
Three kids’ items with Disney options, according to Aldi Reviewer:
Licensed Children’s Books with 4 Character Figures, $6.99: Bluey, The Cat in the Hat, Paw Patrol, Disney Princesses or Toy Story 5
Zak! Divided Plate or 2-Piece Flatware, $4.99: Bluey, Cars, Disney Princess, Sesame Street or Spidey and Friends
Zak! Character Leak Proof Tumbler, $6.99: the same five designs as the plates
One thing to know before you go. There’s no Toy Story plate or cup. The Pixar option for those is Cars.
What other character items are in the Aldi ad this week?
The same ad has a bunch of other kids’ stuff, Aldi Reviewer reported:
Sweatshirt and sweatpants sets or long-sleeve shirt and pants sets for toddlers and kids, $9.99 each, in Bluey, Spider-Man and Stitch
Hedstrom character balls, $3.99, in Bluey, Hello Kitty and Spider-Man
Bluey hair accessories, $2.99
Peanuts sleep pants or pullovers, $9.99
That’s Bluey on seven different listings this week, if you’re counting.
Are Aldi’s Disney books with figures a good deal?
Compared with the closest match we could find, yes.
Phidal, a kids’ book publisher, sells a Disney Princess Animals board book with four plastic figures for $9.99 on its own website. Aldi’s version is $3 cheaper, or about 30% off.
Buying both the Disney Princess and Toy Story 5 books would run $13.98 at Aldi, versus about $20 for two of the Phidal books.
Aldi doesn’t say who makes its books, so they may not be the same. But the format, a board book plus four figures, matches.
The Zak! plates and flatware are harder to compare. We couldn’t find a fair match at the same size and price.
Will every Aldi have the Toy Story 5 books?
Maybe not. Aldi Finds start Wednesday “in most areas,” Aldi Reviewer says, and supplies are limited.
If an item sells out at your store, you can’t order it online, according to Aldi Reviewer. Aldi Finds can vary by store, so check your local ad before you drive over.
What Disney items has Aldi sold in 2026?
Quite a few. Aldi has been on a Disney streak this year, according to Aldi Reviewer’s weekly ad roundups:
July 22: Disney kids’ gear, including $4.99 Zak! plates and fork-and-spoon sets, $5.99 Disney lunch accessories, $4.99 Toy Story socks and a $7.99 Toy Story potty seat or step stool.
Aug. 19: Disney fan gear, including a $12.99 crossbody bag, $8.99 hats and a $19.99 40-ounce tumbler.
Aug. 26: Disney Halloween, including $16.99 pillows, $5.99 Mickey ear headbands and $9.99 plush.
Sept. 9: a $9.99 Disney Halloween doormat.
Aldi’s own product page confirmed the July Disney Princess plates at $4.99.
How did Toy Story 5 do at the box office?
Big. Toy Story 5 opened June 19, 2026, and has made $480.3 million in the U.S. and Canada, according to Box Office Mojo and The Numbers. That makes it the No. 3 movie of 2026 so far.
Worldwide, it’s at about $1.15 billion.
It came out on digital Aug. 18 and Blu-ray Sept. 22, according to Disney, and started streaming on Disney+ on Sept. 23.
The official Toy Story 5 trailer from Pixar:
What is Toy Story 5 about?
Toys versus screens. Bonnie gets Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by Greta Lee, and stops playing with Woody, Jessie and the gang.
Andrew Stanton directed it, with co-director Kenna Harris.
Where can you see Toy Story 5 at Disney World?
Lilypad has already moved into Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Since Sept. 25, she’s been the DJ at Alien Swirling Saucers, which now plays a new soundtrack called Lilypad’s Jams, Disney announced.
From Nov. 4 to Jan. 6, she’ll spin a holiday playlist there, including “Joy to the Swirl.”
What is an Aldi Find?
Aldi Finds are the rotating aisle of non-grocery stuff, like toys, clothes and kitchen gear, that changes every week. New ones show up on Wednesdays.
When they’re gone, they’re usually gone. That’s why fans watch the ads so closely, and why Aldi posts the next week’s Finds on its website ahead of time.
What are some fun facts about this week’s Aldi Finds?
Cars gets the plate, and Toy Story gets the book. Two different Pixar movies, two different shelves.
The book comes with a cast. Each one includes four character figures, so it’s a toy and a story in one.
It’s cheaper than a Dole Whip. At $6.99, the Toy Story 5 book costs less than Disneyland’s $7.49 Dole Whip.
Grab one Wednesday, if your store gets them.
