This week’s Aldi Finds are almost all Halloween. Disney villains scratch art, Nightmare Before Christmas Shrinky Dinks, Boo Berry cereal and a $9.99 haunted house cookie kit.
Aldi is going full Halloween on Wednesday, Sept. 30, and Disney is all over the craft aisle.
The new Aldi Finds ad, posted by Aldi Reviewer on Sept. 27, runs to more than 50 Halloween items across food, home, clothes and kids’ stuff. The Disney pieces are cheap ones. Nothing licensed in the ad costs more than $4.99.
Aldi Finds are the weekly limited drops in the middle aisle. They arrive Wednesday, they don’t restock, and the good ones are gone by the weekend.
What Disney items are in the Aldi ad for Sept. 30?
Three craft kits, each in several characters, per Aldi Reviewer:
Bendon Halloween Scratch Art, $4.99 each, in Disney villains, Mickey, Nightmare Before Christmas, Paw Patrol, pumpkins or black cat
Halloween Pixel Art, $2.99 each, in Bluey, Minecraft, Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney Princess or Stitch
Halloween Shrinky Dinks, $2.99, in Bluey, Nightmare Before Christmas, Peanuts, Princess or Stitch
That’s Stitch and Disney Princess at $2.99 twice over, and Nightmare Before Christmas in all three. If you’re stuffing a Halloween basket for a Disney kid, this is a $10 trip.
These are Disney-licensed products from third-party makers, not Disney Store merch. The scratch art is from Bendon, and Shrinky Dinks is its own brand.
What Halloween food is at Aldi this week?
A lot of it, and most of it is national brands at Aldi prices:
Benton’s Chocolate Haunted House Cookie Kit, $9.99
Boo Berry or Count Chocula cereal, $3.99
Kellogg’s Wednesday cereal, $4.98
Nabisco Boo Oreos, $4.97
Kellogg’s Scooby-Doo Halloween Snacks, $14.88 for a 30-pack
Tyson Spooky Nuggets, $5.99
Kool-Aid Ghoul Aid, $2.99 for 10 pouches
Sundae Shoppe Jack-o’-Lantern Pops, $2.69
The Aldi house brands fill in the rest. Bake Shop has Halloween mini cupcakes at $3.89, pumpkin doughnuts at $3.29 and pumpkin cookie sandwiches at $4.99. Emporium Selection is back with its Halloween cheese at $4.49, and there’s a Reggano Halloween-shaped pasta at $2.29.
There’s even a Halloween ground coffee from Barissimo at $5.89, for anyone who wants their Monday to taste like October.
What else is in the Aldi Finds ad this week?
Toys, pajamas, pet costumes and a bread pot.
The non-Halloween headliner is the Crofton Cast Iron Bread Baking Pot at $26.99, in cream or green. Aldi Reviewer put it at the top of its weekly roundup.
For kids, there’s a LEGO Halloween Set at $14.99, in Day of the Dead or a jack-o’-lantern with a pickup truck, plus an 8-inch Halloween Squishmallow at $8.99 in bat, black cat, green monster, pumpkin, spooky cupcake or teal casket. Halloween pajamas are $7.99 for kids, and novelty slippers run $4.99 for kids and $6.99 for adults.
Pets get a Heart to Tail Halloween costume at $6.99 and a Halloween cat scratching house at the same price.
When do Aldi Finds come out?
Every Wednesday, in store. The ad for Sept. 30 is live now on Aldi’s site and in the app, so you can plan the list before you go.
One caution on the licensed crafts: Aldi ads list every character option, but individual stores get whatever the truck brings. If you want the Stitch pixel art specifically, Wednesday morning is your best shot, and there’s no rain check.
Aldi’s fall price cuts on chicken and apples, which PNP covered Saturday, are still running alongside all of this.
