AMC Theatres revealed its Avengers: Doomsday lineup, with a Doctor Doom statue bucket, a Sentinel head, a glowing team icon and a Doom drink bottle, all on sale Dec. 17 at theaters.
AMC Theatres has its Avengers: Doomsday popcorn lineup ready, and Doctor Doom is all over it. The chain showed off four collectibles for the Marvel movie, and none of them are subtle.
The headliner is a Doctor Doom statue that holds popcorn. There’s also a Sentinel head, a glowing team icon and a bottle shaped like Doom’s hooded head.
They go on sale Thursday, Dec. 17, in theaters only, while supplies last, according to WDWNT, Attractions Magazine and Fantasy Land News. That’s preview night for the movie, which opens Friday, Dec. 18.
What does the AMC Avengers: Doomsday popcorn bucket look like?
The Doctor Doom collectible is Doom from the waist up with his arms crossed, like he’s waiting for you to finish your popcorn so he can conquer something. Attractions Magazine says it comes with a large popcorn.
AMC didn’t make a Doom helmet bucket, despite a few headlines that said “mask.” The mask is on the statue, which is as close as you’re getting.
This one isn’t an AMC exclusive. Regal sells its own Doctor Doom statue bucket, and Cinemark has an LED version that lights up.
What are the AMC exclusive Avengers: Doomsday collectibles?
AMC has two exclusives, plus the drink bottle:
Sentinel Head: a giant robot head from the X-Men side of Marvel that holds popcorn. Fantasy Land News describes it as purple with green eyes.
Team Icon Collectible: a glowing hexagon with popcorn, in three designs: the Avengers logo, the X-Men logo or Doom.
Bottle of Doom: a drink bottle shaped like Doom’s hooded head that comes with a fountain drink.
The Sentinel is the fun one. It’s a nod to the X-Men joining this movie, and you’ll be the only person in the theater eating out of a mutant-hunting robot.
Speaking of the X-Men, here’s Marvel’s “The X-Men Will Return” teaser for Avengers: Doomsday:
How much is the AMC Avengers: Doomsday popcorn bucket?
AMC hasn’t announced prices yet, and neither has Regal or Cinemark. We will update this when AMC posts the number.
Fantasy Land News also reports a bit of fine print: gourmet popcorn isn’t included, drinks are fountain only and AMC Stubs upgrades don’t apply. No other outlet has repeated that, so treat it as likely until AMC confirms.
There’s no preorder, and no one has reported a limit per person.
What is Regal selling for Avengers: Doomsday?
Regal is going big, too. Its lineup includes a Doom’s Throne popcorn container and a Sentinel drink vessel, both Regal exclusives, plus its version of the Doom statue bucket and a couple of combos.
Regal’s items also go on sale Dec. 17 at select theaters. Attractions Magazine reports Regal will hand out collectible Marvel 3D glasses at a special Dec. 20 screening.
Cinemark’s lineup, which PNP covered on Oct. 31, has the light-up Doom bucket, a light-up Doom cup and four souvenir cups.
Is the Avengers: Doomsday bucket better than the Dune sandworm?
Depends who you ask. Dune: Part Three opens the same day, Dec. 18, and AMC is selling a double sandworm bucket for that one, too.
SlashFilm wasn’t impressed with the Doomsday merch, calling it “uninspired” and “samey” next to the sandworm. That’s one opinion. The other opinion is that you can buy a Sentinel head, which the sandworm can’t top.
Either way, Dec. 18 is going to be a rough night for theater popcorn stock.
When does Avengers: Doomsday come out?
Avengers: Doomsday opens in U.S. theaters on Friday, Dec. 18, 2026, with previews Thursday, Dec. 17. Joe and Anthony Russo directed it.
Robert Downey Jr. plays Doctor Doom, and Pedro Pascal is back as Reed Richards. The two just swapped those roles for a Halloween costume, which tells you how loose everyone is heading into release.
Tickets are already on sale at AMC, Regal and Cinemark. If you want the Sentinel, go early on preview night. “While supplies last” means what it says.
