Bull Airs revealed a Jim Henson’s Monster Cereals collection at New York Comic Con, with $249 Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Franken Berry sneakers, jackets, tees and hats. Pre-orders ship in 2027.
Count Chocula is ready to hit the streets.
Sneaker brand Bull Airs revealed an officially licensed Jim Henson’s Monster Cereals collection at New York Comic Con, and pre-orders opened Friday, Oct. 9. Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Franken Berry each get their own sneaker, plus matching jackets, T-shirts and hats.
The collection is licensed through The Jim Henson Company and General Mills, according to Bull Airs’ product pages.
How much are the Bull Airs Monster Cereals sneakers?
$249 a pair. Each of the three monsters gets its own design on Bull Airs’ Short Horn sneaker.
Here’s everything in the collection, with prices from Bull Airs:
Short Horn sneakers (Count Chocula, Boo Berry, Franken Berry): $249 each
Premium jackets (all three monsters): $150 each
T-shirts (all three monsters): $45 each
Boo Berry bucket hat: $45
Count Chocula and Franken Berry 5-panel caps: $45 each
Lace Faces (all three monsters): $20 each
A full set for one monster (sneakers, jacket, tee, and hat) costs $489 before tax and shipping.
When do the Monster Cereals sneakers ship?
Not until next year. Every item is a pre-order, and Bull Airs says the collection is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2027.
The brand also warns that shipping dates can change because of production delays. At checkout, buyers have to type “Yes” to confirm they understand it’s a pre-order.
The sneakers come in U.S. men’s sizes 4 through 18, including half sizes.
Where can you buy the Bull Airs Monster Cereals collection?
On bullairs.com. Bull Airs is also at New York Comic Con all weekend, at booth #1337.
The site labels the collection “NYCC 2026 Reveal.” Bull Airs hasn’t posted a public end date for the pre-order window, so if you want a pair, don’t wait too long.
Why are the Monster Cereals tied to Jim Henson?
Because of a cereal box makeover. In 2025, General Mills teamed up with The Jim Henson Company to reimagine its Halloween monsters as Muppet-style puppets.
This year’s boxes brought the Henson look back for the cereals’ 55th anniversary. Jim Henson’s Creature Shop built the puppets, and each 2026 box has cutouts that turn the empty box into a Monster puppet, according to Haunted Attraction Network.
“For 55 years, the Monsters have brought a smile, and a little thrill,” said Megan Brooks, a business unit director at General Mills.
Are Monster Cereals in stores now?
Yes. Count Chocula, Boo Berry and Franken Berry hit store shelves nationwide in late July.
There’s also a fuzzy, fleece-textured Count Chocula box sold only on Walmart.com for $7.76, starting Oct. 1. Last year’s fuzzy box was Franken Berry.
General Mills hasn’t announced a 2026 return for Fruit Brute or Carmella Creeper.
Who is Bull Airs?
It’s a sneaker brand from Cortland, New York, founded by Thom Bulman. He spent 17 years as a tattoo artist before switching to shoe design during the pandemic, according to GoCollect.
The brand is known for turning cartoons, mascots and movies into custom-style sneakers sold in limited drops. Bull Airs has also done licensed lines for Garbage Pail Kids and classic video game consoles.
