Caribou Coffee’s holiday menu lands Monday, Nov. 2, with a new Cookie Butter White Mocha in four versions, a Warm Spice Morning Bun and the return of the Ho Ho Mint Mocha.
Caribou Coffee is going all in on cookie butter this Christmas.
The chain’s holiday menu starts Monday, Nov. 2, at participating locations nationwide, and the headliner is a brand-new Cookie Butter White Mocha, Caribou announced. QSR Magazine noted the menu runs while supplies last.
Cookie butter, if you’ve never had it, tastes like spiced cookies crushed into a spread. Think caramelized, cinnamon-y and very sweet. Caribou is pairing it with white chocolate and espresso.
“One of the things we love most about this time of year is seeing guests reconnect over seasonal favorites,” Carrie Sazama, Caribou’s director of product, said in a statement to Parade.
What’s in the Caribou Cookie Butter White Mocha?
White chocolate, espresso and cookie butter flavor. The hot version comes with steamed milk, whipped cream and cookie crumbles on top, QSR Magazine reported.
There are four ways to order it:
Hot: with steamed milk, whipped cream and cookie crumbles
Iced: the same flavors over ice
Espresso Shaker: espresso and cookie butter flavor shaken over ice with a splash of oat milk
Caribou Cooler: blended with coffee, topped with whipped cream and crumbled cookies
One small detail from the fine print: “Cookie Butter” is a registered trademark of Monin, the flavoring company, and Caribou uses it under license, QSR Magazine noted.
What Caribou holiday drinks are coming back?
The usual crew, plus the cranberry drinks. Here’s what’s returning, according to Parade and QSR Magazine:
Ho Ho Mint Mocha: chocolate, espresso and mint, available hot, iced, blended, as cold brew, nitro, an Espresso Shaker or a coffee-free hot chocolate
Spicy Mocha: chocolate with ancho chile and cinnamon
Cranberry Dark Chocolate: dark chocolate and tart cranberry, as an Espresso Shaker or cold brew
Cranberry Energy Drink: a sparkling cranberry energy drink you can mix with lemonade and top with coconut milk cold foam
Caribou introduced the cranberry drinks in 2024, along with the Chocolate Truffle Brownie, QSR Magazine reported at the time. All of them are back this year.
What new food is on the Caribou holiday menu?
One new pastry. The Warm Spice Morning Bun is a flaky, buttery pastry rolled in cinnamon, cardamom, coriander and ginger.
The Chocolate Truffle Brownie is returning too. It’s a fudgy brownie topped with chocolate truffle ganache.
QSR Magazine also listed the French Toast Sandwich: scrambled cage-free eggs, sausage, cheddar and cream cheese between slices of French toast. It first showed up on Caribou’s fall menu in August.
Does Caribou have holiday cups and coffee bags this year?
Yes to both. The new cups are hand-illustrated, with designs inspired by cozy sweaters, blankets and wrapping paper, Caribou said.
For brewing at home, there are two limited-time bags:
Winter Wish (new): a medium roast made with Central American coffees, with notes of brown sugar, fig and almond
Reindeer Blend (returning): a dark roast built on aged Sumatra, with caramel and spice notes
The holiday merch includes ornaments, tumblers and, yes, a Ho Ho Mint Mocha candle.
Can you get Caribou drinks with non-dairy milk for free?
Yes. Caribou says its drinks can be made with non-dairy milk at no extra charge.
Caribou Perks members earn points on eligible purchases and trade them in for drinks and food. Signing up is free. You can join on Caribou’s website or text “Perks” to 762-CARIBOU.
You can order in the cafe, at the drive-thru or through the Caribou app for pickup or delivery.
What happens to the Caribou fall menu?
Caribou hasn’t said. The fall menu has been out since Aug. 20, with the Pumpkin White Mocha, the Pumpkin Chai Latte and a lineup of Honeycrisp apple drinks.
The company hasn’t announced which fall drinks, if any, stick around once the holiday menu starts. If you have a pumpkin favorite, the next couple of weeks might be your last easy shot at it.
Caribou hasn’t posted prices for the new drinks yet, and they’ll likely vary by location. Participating stores should have them on the menu board come Nov. 2.
