The last $189 night is gone, and eight of 25 party nights at Magic Kingdom have sold out. The cheapest ticket left is $194, and the low end costs $20 more than it did last year.
The bargain nights are gone. Well, “bargain.”
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has sold out on Nov. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 1, BlogMickey reported Friday, Oct. 16. That brings the 2026 total to eight sold-out nights out of 25 at Magic Kingdom, WDW News Today confirmed.
Nov. 9 was the last night left at the season’s lowest price, $189. All three of the cheapest nights have now sold out, according to BlogMickey.
Here’s last year’s Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade in full from 4K WDW:
Which Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates are sold out?
Eight nights, as of Friday morning:
November: 9, 12, 13, 17 and 24
December: 1, 20 and 22
That leaves 17 dates, according to WDW News Today:
November: 8, 15, 19, 20, 25, 27 and 29
December: 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 18
How much are Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets now?
$194 is the new floor. Nov. 15 and Nov. 19 are the cheapest nights left, at $194, or $184 for Annual Passholders, BlogMickey reported.
Opening night, Nov. 8, is $199, or $189 for Passholders. Dec. 17 and Dec. 18 are the only $229 nights still on sale.
Passholder discounts are still available on Nov. 8, 15, 19, 20 and 29 and on Dec. 3. Disney Vacation Club members get the same $10 off.
Kids ages 3 to 9 save $10 a ticket on every date. Tax isn’t included, and Disney Tourist Blog pointed out in July that every night ends up costing $200 or more once you add it.
How much have Very Merry Christmas Party prices gone up?
About $20 at the bottom in a year. This year’s prices run $189 to $229, according to Disney Tourist Blog. Last year’s ran $169 to $229.
The climb goes back further, DTB reported:
2023: $159 to $199
2024: $169 to $219, the first year a party night broke $200
2025: $169 to $229
2026: $189 to $229
Here’s what that looks like for a couple. Two adult tickets on the cheapest night left cost $388 before tax. At 2023’s lowest price, the same pair would have cost $318.
DTB’s Tom Bricker remembers much cheaper days. “I still remember when tickets were under $50 per night!” he wrote. He also wrote that he once thought Disney was greedy for raising party prices to $79.
Why are Very Merry Christmas Party nights selling out so fast?
Demand, and Disney knows it. Last year, all 25 nights sold out by Nov. 19 at the same $229 top price, BlogMickey noted.
Passholder discount nights are going fastest this year. Five of those 11 nights have sold out, compared with three of the other 14, according to BlogMickey.
Bricker has argued Disney could charge even more and still sell out. He wrote that he’s “come to accept that the FOMO machine is a powerful motivator.”
The first night to sell out this year was Nov. 24, back on Sept. 29. Dec. 22, the last party night and the one closest to Christmas, sold out Oct. 3, BlogMickey reported.
What do you get with a Very Merry Christmas Party ticket?
A Christmas night at Magic Kingdom from 7 p.m. to midnight. Ticket holders can enter as early as 4 p.m., WDWNT noted.
The party brings back Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and the castle stage show Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration. It runs on select nights from Nov. 8 to Dec. 22.
Is there a cheaper way to see Christmas at Disney World?
Kind of. Disney World’s regular holiday season starts Nov. 13, DTB noted, so the decorations come with a regular park ticket. The party parade and fireworks don’t.
Tickets are still available for every night of Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, according to WDWNT.
Guests can buy party tickets online or by phone. Disney says tickets have limited availability and may sell out before the event date, BlogMickey reported.
At $194, the cheap night isn’t all that cheap anymore.
