Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla returns Oct. 12 in regular and Zero Sugar, a year after its debut. It comes in 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles at most U.S. stores.
Coca-Cola‘s holiday soda is coming back, and it’s showing up before Halloween.
Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla starts rolling out to stores nationwide on Monday, Oct. 12, the company announced Oct. 7. There’s a regular version and a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Holiday Creamy Vanilla.
It’s a limited-edition flavor, so it won’t be around forever.
What is Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla?
It’s classic Coke with a smooth, creamy vanilla flavor. Coca-Cola says it’s meant to “capture the joy of the holidays.”
The flavor first came out in November 2025. It was Coca-Cola’s first new holiday flavor in five years, and it came in metallic gold packaging.
Fans who tried it last year mostly compared it to regular Vanilla Coke. One Reddit user said it was “way creamier than normal Vanilla Coke“ and that it “tastes thicker as well,” according to Parade.
Another fan on Instagram was a little more direct: “I will be stockpiling this.”
So it had fans, and now it’s getting a second year.
When does Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla come out in 2026?
It starts hitting shelves Oct. 12, according to Mass Market Retailers. That’s about three weeks earlier than last year, when it launched Nov. 3, 2025.
So if you missed it last time, you’ve got a head start.
Where can you buy Coca-Cola Holiday Creamy Vanilla?
At most retailers in the U.S., plus Coca-Cola’s online store. Bleeding Cool reports it’s headed to stores in Canada, too.
You’ll find it in two sizes:
12-packs of 12-ounce cans
20-ounce bottles
Last year, the regular version also came in 2-liter bottles sold only at Walmart. Coca-Cola hasn’t said whether that’s happening again this year.
Coca-Cola didn’t list a price, so it’ll likely depend on the store.
Is there a Zero Sugar Holiday Creamy Vanilla?
Yes. Both versions are back.
The Zero Sugar version has no calories or sugar. The regular version has 150 calories and 42 grams of sugar per 12-ounce can, according to the nutrition facts Bleeding Cool shared.
What other holiday flavors has Coca-Cola made?
Not many, which is part of why this one stood out. Coke’s first U.S. holiday flavor was Coca-Cola Cinnamon, which launched in 2019.
Sprite got its own holiday flavor that same year, and that one has stuck around. More on it below.
“A new and exciting way to get in the holiday spirit,” said Oana Vlad, then a brand director at Coca-Cola, about the cinnamon flavor in 2019.
Then Coca-Cola went five years without a new one, until Holiday Creamy Vanilla broke the streak in 2025.
Is Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry coming back in 2026?
Yes, Coca-Cola is bringing back the Winter Spiced Cranberry flavor.
Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry has returned every holiday season since it debuted in 2019.. Sprite describes it as its lemon-lime soda with tart cranberry and a blend of spices.
Is there a Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry Zero Sugar?
Yes. Sprite added Sprite Winter Spiced Cranberry Zero Sugar in 2021. At first, it only came in 2-liter bottles, according to Scripps News.
By 2024, both versions came in 20-ounce bottles and 12-ounce cans, according to Beverage Industry.
The flavor goes back further than that, too. Before the spices, there was plain Sprite Cranberry, a holiday staple since 2013, according to Coca-Cola.
What else is Coca-Cola doing for the holidays?
A lot of the usual favorites. Coca-Cola says its 2026 holiday plans include festive packaging, new holiday ads and the return of the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan.
Last year, the caravan’s stops offered Santa photos, Costa Coffee samples and free gift-wrapping stations, according to Beverage Industry. Coca-Cola hasn’t shared this year’s tour dates.
Is Holiday Creamy Vanilla the same as Vanilla Coke?
Not quite. Vanilla Coke has been around since 2002, and it’s on shelves all year.
Holiday Creamy Vanilla is meant to taste creamier, and it’s only around for the season. Think of it as Vanilla Coke in a holiday sweater.
Coca-Cola didn’t give an end date. It’s a limited-time flavor, so if you liked it last year, don’t wait too long.
