ColourPop’s A Very Mickey Christmas collab with Disney dropped Oct. 8 with a $25 Mickey and Minnie palette, keychain glosses and Mickey face stamps. Here’s every piece, every price and where to buy it.
ColourPop and Disney have a Christmas collection, and Mickey and Minnie are all over it.
Disney’s A Very Mickey Christmas went live on ColourPop.com at 1 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, Oct. 8, as Disney Fashionista reported ahead of the drop. It’s nine pieces, from a $25 eyeshadow palette to $8 glitter freckle tattoos, all in red-and-pink holiday packaging with the pair in Santa hats.
ColourPop calls the palette its “first-ever palette” with Mickey and Minnie, which is a little surprising given how many Disney collabs the brand has done. More on that below.
How much is the ColourPop A Very Mickey Christmas collection?
Here’s every piece and its price on ColourPop.com, as of Monday, Oct. 12:
A Very Mickey Christmas Eyeshadow Palette: $25
You Made the List Jelly Much Eyeshadow Stick Kit: $18
Oh Jolly More Holly Lip Kit (Mickey): $16
Be Merry & Bright Lip Kit (Minnie): $16
Under the Mistletoe Ultra Glossy Lip: $12
Christmas Kisses Ultra Glossy Lip: $12
Dear Santa BFF Creme Gel Liner Kit: $12
Merry Mickey Face Stamp: $12
Glitter Face Freckle Tattoos: $8
There are also three bundles. Holiday Sweethearts pairs both lip kits for $30, Wrapped with a Bow pairs both glosses for $22, and the full collection is $125.
That full set includes all nine pieces plus a free Gift Tag Sticker Sheet with 10 tags. Bought one at a time, the nine pieces add up to $131, by our math, so the bundle saves you $6 and throws in the stickers.
What’s in the A Very Mickey Christmas eyeshadow palette?
Fifteen shades in five finishes: matte, metallic, chrome metallic, Super Shock and pearlescent glitter, according to ColourPop.
The shades lean pink, berry and silver, with a few dark neutrals for depth. The names are pure holiday card, as listed on Ulta’s page for the palette: Fa La La, Let It Snow, Warmest Wishes, Why, Hello!, Super Swell, Holiday Spirit, Christmas Magic, Winter Wow!, Gifts Galore, Be Merry, Cute Bow, ‘Tis the Season, Festive Feels, Jolly Sweethearts and Oh, What Fun!
The lid shows Mickey and Minnie in Santa hats inside a holly wreath with “Oh Jolly” across the bottom.
What lip products come with the ColourPop Mickey collection?
Two lip kits and two glosses.
Each lip kit pairs a satin lipstick with a twist-up lip liner.
Oh Jolly More Holly is Mickey’s, a blackened red, with Mr. Mickey lipstick and Berry & Bright liner. Be Merry & Bright is Minnie’s, a rosy berry, with Ms. Minnie lipstick and Velvet Stocking liner.
The glosses are probably the most giftable pieces in the whole drop. Each Ultra Glossy Lip comes on a keychain, with a Mickey-ear cap on top.
Under the Mistletoe is a silvery champagne with rainbow sparkle, and Christmas Kisses is a sparkly sheer cherry. ColourPop says the formula has hyaluronic acid, Kakadu plum and sweet cherry oil in it.
What else is in the collection?
You Made the List is a pair of Jelly Much eyeshadow sticks: Aww, Gee, a silver with baby blue sparkle, and Tee Hee!, an ivory champagne with silver and pink sparkle.
Dear Santa BFF is a two-pack of metallic gel eyeliners, Sleigh in cranberry and Tinsel in gunmetal. ColourPop claims 18 hours of wear.
Merry Mickey Face Stamp has a Mickey silhouette on one end and a heart on the other, both in black. Stamp one on a cheekbone, or line them up.
Glitter Face Freckle Tattoos come four to a pack, with sparkles and tiny Mickey and Minnie silhouettes that sit across your nose and cheeks. ColourPop says they’re its first-ever face freckle tattoos.
Here’s a first look from beauty creator Grace Jaros:
Where can you buy ColourPop’s Disney Christmas collection?
ColourPop.com has the whole thing. ColourPop calls the collab limited edition, so once it’s gone, it’s gone.
Ulta.com carries it too. The palette is $25 there, and Ulta sells an online-only “Holly Jolly Haul” bundle for $135, according to its listings. That Ulta bundle has eight pieces but skips the freckle tattoos and the sticker sheet, so ColourPop’s own $125 set is the better deal.
One site has reported Target and Amazon release dates for November, but we couldn’t confirm those with either retailer.
Has ColourPop done Disney collections before?
Plenty. ColourPop’s Disney Designer Collection, built around Disney princesses like Belle, Ariel and Tiana, launched Sept. 28, 2018, on ColourPop and shopDisney, Hypebae reported.
A Disney Villains collection followed in March 2019, and a Midnight Masquerade princess collection came that October as the brand’s third Disney collab, the Malay Mail noted.
In 2021, ColourPop did “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” with lipsticks whose packaging doubled as tree ornaments, Nylon reported. A Muppets holiday collection followed in November 2022, with a full set for $99, Disney Food Blog reported.
So Mickey and Minnie are late to their own party. This is their first palette with the brand, and it’s a Christmas one.
What are some fun facts about this ColourPop drop?
The shade names go full holiday. From Velvet Stocking and Tinsel to Jolly Sweethearts, most of them sound like gift tags.
It’s cruelty-free. ColourPop describes the whole collection that way.
The keychains are the stocking stuffers. At $12, the Mickey-ear gloss keychains are the cheapest way into the collab after the $8 freckle tattoos.
Mickey’s been around for almost 98 years. Turns out he only needed one more thing: a face stamp.
