D23 Asia runs June 25 to 27, 2027, at Marina Bay Sands, with a Disney+ night for Korean and Japanese series. Disney will also sell some employee-store merch to the Asia Pacific public for the first time.
Disney revealed the first real lineup for D23 Asia: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on Nov. 5, and it's built around three big nights in Singapore.
The event runs June 25 to 27, 2027, at Marina Bay Sands, taking over parts of the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. It's the first D23 event in Singapore.
Each night ends on the Premiere Stage with a different headliner: a Studio Showcase, a Disney+ Showcase and a Broadway-style concert called Disney Hits LIVE!
Tickets go on sale in late November. Disney hasn't released prices yet.
Carol Choi, executive vice president of The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific and its incoming APAC president, said the goal is "creating an ultimate fan event specifically for Asia."
Daps Magic rounded up the lineup Nov. 6, and Asian outlets have been counting down the highlights since.
Here's Disney's D23 Asia announcement video:
What are the D23 Asia showcases?
Disney set one headliner for each night:
Friday, June 25, Studio Showcase: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and more, with announcements, never-before-seen footage and surprise celebrity appearances.
Saturday, June 26, Disney+ Showcase: Upcoming Korean and Japanese series, plus new and returning global titles, with Asian creators and stars on hand.
Sunday, June 27, Disney Hits LIVE!: A finale concert of Disney and Pixar songs sung by Broadway stars, with a live band, concert lighting and big-screen animation.
WDW News Today spotted Moving, Shogun and Twisted Wonderland in the Disney+ teaser art. Disney hasn't said which shows will actually present.
Laughing Place reported the nightly showcases come with the Convention + Premiere Stage pass or the Platinum Pass. Disney hasn't posted what either pass costs.
What else is at D23 Asia?
The daytime Convention Floor has four main areas:
Explore New Worlds: More than 15 immersive experiences based on Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+ and Hulu stories.
Storytellers Stage: Panels and presentations with creators and talent on how Disney's films, series and experiences get made.
Talent Central: Character meet-and-greets and talent appearances all three days.
Spotlight Stage: Live entertainment, interactive activities and fan programming.
Then there's the shopping, which for a lot of fans is the main event.
The D23 Marketplace is the central store, with collectibles, apparel and accessories. The Walt Disney Company Store booth will carry D23 Asia collections, plus select items usually sold only at Disney's employee stores.
Disney says this is the first time those employee-store items will be sold to the public in Asia Pacific. Expect a line.
When do D23 Asia tickets go on sale?
Late November 2026, according to Disney. Pass prices, tiers and an exact on-sale date haven't been announced.
Disney is pointing fans to D23Asia.com and the @D23Asia Instagram account for ticket news. D23.com says programming and ticketing details "will be announced soon."
Disney first announced D23 Asia in May and set the dates in August. The U.S. version of D23 ran in Anaheim in August 2026.
Has D23 been held outside the U.S. before?
Yes, just not in Singapore. D23 Expo Japan happened in 2013, 2015 and 2018. The 2018 edition ran Feb. 10 to 12 at Tokyo Disney Resort.
Disney also held D23 Brazil in 2024, Disney Tourist Blog noted. That makes Singapore the third international market to host a D23 event.
Singapore puts the show within a short flight of Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland fans, too.
Can you pair D23 Asia with a Disney cruise?
Maybe. Disney Adventure, the biggest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet at about 208,000 gross tons, sails from Marina Bay Cruise Centre in Singapore. Its maiden voyage left March 10, 2026.
The ship runs three- and four-night cruises with no ports of call. Sailings are already listed into 2027, including a three-night trip departing May 24, 2027.
Disney hasn't announced any D23 Asia cruise packages. We covered a Disney Adventure deal with up to 40% off Singapore sailings on Nov. 5.
