Del Taco’s new Flamin’ Hot queso lineup runs through Nov. 18 and includes six menu items plus a bag of Cheetos. Florida fans can find it minutes from Disney World and Universal.
Del Taco just turned its queso red.
The chain launched a Flamin’ Hot queso lineup on Sept. 17, made with Frito-Lay’s Cheetos Flamin’ Hot flavor mixed into Del Taco’s queso blanco. It runs through Nov. 18 at participating restaurants.
There are six new menu items. And if the queso isn’t enough, you can just add a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos to your order.
What’s on the Del Taco Flamin’ Hot queso menu?
The six new items:
Flamin’ Hot Queso Beef Roller: seasoned beef, spiced queso and cheddar in a warm flour tortilla
Flamin’ Hot Queso & Chips: the queso with tortilla chips for dipping
Flamin’ Hot Queso Crispy Chicken Burrito: crispy chicken, crinkle-cut fries, queso, cheddar and sour cream
Flamin’ Hot Queso Loaded Fries: fries topped with beef, queso, cheddar, tomatoes, sour cream and jalapeños
Epic Flamin’ Hot Queso Grilled Chicken Burrito: grilled chicken, fries, queso and cheddar in an oversized tortilla
Flamin’ Hot Queso Loaded Nachos: chips and beans with your choice of protein, queso, sour cream, tomatoes and jalapeños
The seventh item is the simplest. It’s a 2-ounce bag of Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Crunchy snacks.
Del Taco didn’t list prices in its announcement, and they can vary by location. Check the app or the menu board before you order.
Is Del Taco’s Flamin’ Hot queso spicy?
Del Taco is pitching it as a real heat upgrade. Chief marketing officer Noah Chillingworth said the best collabs “create something new while staying true to what guests already love.”
Chief transformation officer Ulyses Camacho went bigger. He called the items “impossible to ignore.”
How spicy it lands for you depends on your tolerance. Flamin’ Hot Cheetos fans already know the deal: the heat builds, and your fingers turn red.
Where is Del Taco near Disney World and Universal?
Del Taco isn’t everywhere. It has more than 550 restaurants across 17 states, heavy in California and the West.
But Central Florida has a few right in the tourist zone, according to Main Street Magic:
West Kissimmee: 7531 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway
East Kissimmee: 5260 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway
International Drive, near Universal: 6855 Grand National Drive, Orlando
The Irlo Bronson locations sit along U.S. 192, the main drag running past a lot of off-property Disney hotels. If you’re staying out there and want a cheap late-night bite after the fireworks, you’ve got options.
Is there a Flamin’ Hot Cheetos movie on Disney+?
There is. Searchlight Pictures, which Disney owns, released Flamin’ Hot on June 9, 2023, on Hulu and Disney+. It was Eva Longoria‘s first feature as a director, and Jesse Garcia stars as Richard Montañez.
The movie tells Montañez’s story of rising from the Frito-Lay factory floor to invent the snack. That story has been disputed. A 2021 Los Angeles Times investigation found that a team at Frito-Lay’s headquarters developed Flamin’ Hot, and the company said, “We do not credit the creation of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos or any Flamin’ Hot products to him.”
Longoria has said she was telling Montañez’s truth, not making a documentary. Either way, it’s a fun watch before a Del Taco run.

Who owns Del Taco?
Del Taco is owned by Jack in the Box, which bought the chain in 2022. Jack in the Box has been leaning on pop culture tie-ins this fall too, including a Simpsons “Treehouse of Horror” meal that launched Sept. 10.
The Flamin’ Hot lineup is here for about two months. After Nov. 18, it’s gone, so don’t wait too long if you want your queso red.
