A recent social media post is claiming to quote the Wolverine actor for ridiculing the new Wolverine game, along with many others online claiming he called it “embarrassing.”

Why are people saying he did?
Because the known parody account Chaos Crave posted that he said
“I mean, if there's ever a moment where I wish I wasn't Wolverine, this would be that moment. The videos I've seen are so embarrassing.”
Jackman did not say it.
The post did get community noted.
“The attributed quote from Hugh Jackman is fabricated. ChaosCrave is a self-described parody and satirical account; coverage of the game identifies Liam McIntyre as Wolverine with no statements from Jackman.”
This did not stop the comment from spreading like wildfire all over social media.
Some still believed it
Even though it was a parody account, a lot of people fell for it and were spreading it around social media as if it were true.
Why would people believe this?
Because the game is being widely panned across social media.
It was released two days ago on PS5 by Insomniac Games for about $70. Critics have even ripped it apart and gave it a score of 77.
Others have made videos “playing” the motorcycle sequence, except they weren’t even touching the controller because the game was reportedly nerfed and could play that part itself.
Many other games have said that they are enjoying the game, but many point out that they put it on hard mode and turned off mechanics that assist players.
The game is also listed as a “Top 10” in many markets.
However, the involvement of controversial narrative and consultation company Sweet Baby Inc. has led to some boycotting the game.
There may be valid reasons to question the game, but Hugh Jackman isn’t one of them.
