Toy Story and Disney Princess countdown calendars just landed in Disney World shops. Here’s what’s behind the doors, plus the LEGO, pin and plush calendars on Disney Store this year.
It’s not even Halloween, and Disney already wants you counting down to Christmas.
Two Disney holiday countdown calendars are now on shelves at Walt Disney World, WDWNT reported Saturday, Oct. 17. One is a Toy Story calendar, and the other is a Disney Princess micro figure set.
Both were already on Disney Store’s website. Now you can pick them up in person, too.
Here’s a look at the holiday shopping already underway at Disney Springs, from Super Enthused:
Where can you buy Disney countdown calendars at Disney World?
WDWNT found the Toy Story calendar at Disney’s Days of Christmas in Disney Springs. That’s the year-round Christmas shop, so it’s a natural home for it.
The Princess calendar turned up at Discovery Trading Company and Riverside Depot in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Both are also sold online at Disney Store, which lists each one at $49.99.
What’s inside the Toy Story 12-Day Countdown Calendar?
Twelve little holiday versions of the gang. The doors are held up by the Aliens, and the box opens into a Space Crane arcade scene, according to Disney Store’s listing.
Here’s what’s behind the doors, per the listing.
Buzz in a Santa hat and Woody as a nutcracker.
Jessie in a Santa costume.
Three Aliens with a candy cane.
Bunny and Ducky in a stocking.
Forky as a snowman and Hamm as a reindeer.
Bullseye, plus a sled with the Space Crane.
An Etch A Sketch with a ribbon, a Pixar Ball and a sack of gifts.
It first showed up on Disney Store in early October, Laughing Place reported. It’s for ages 3 and up.
Since it only has 12 doors, it’s a good fit for families who’d rather start the countdown in mid-December.
What’s in the Disney Princess countdown calendar?
This one runs the full 24 days, Dec. 1 through Christmas Eve. It’s called the Once Upon a Story 24-Day Countdown Calendar Micro Figure Set, and it comes in a castle-shaped case with a fold-out cover.
WDWNT described the outside as a gingerbread castle, which sounds about right for the season. DisMerchandise logged it on Disney Store back in August.
The figures are about 1.5 inches tall. They include Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Sven, plus Rapunzel, Flynn and Pascal, according to Disney Store.
Ariel, Eric and Max are in there, too, along with Jasmine, Aladdin, Abu and a snowy white Genie. Little props round it out, like a snow globe, a sleigh and a gift with a dinglehopper inside.
Last year’s version used a different cast. That one had Belle, the Beast, Tiana and Naveen, and it also cost $49.99, WDWNT reported in December 2025.
What other Disney advent calendars are out for 2026?
Quite a few, and the prices are all over the place. Here’s what Disney Store lists right now:
LEGO Disney Princess Advent Calendar 2026: $44.99. It has 290 pieces, with Ariel, Cinderella, Moana and Mulan.
Mickey Mouse Holiday Countdown Calendar: $44.99. It’s a resin train with “Days ‘Til Christmas” number blocks you can reuse every year.
Olaf Plush Christmas Countdown Calendar: $69.99 for an 18-inch Olaf.
Bluey Fuzzies Advent Calendar: $24.99, for the preschool crowd.
Then there’s the big one. The Disney Christmas Cookies 24-Day Advent Calendar Mystery Pin Set costs $275. It’s a limited edition of 5,750 worldwide, with 24 pins, 12 of them mystery designs.
Pin traders, you already know whether that’s a yes.
When does the holiday season start at Disney World?
Officially, Nov. 13. The holidays run through Jan. 6, 2027, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
The ticketed parties start even earlier. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off at Magic Kingdom on Nov. 8, with 25 nights through Dec. 22, according to Disney World’s event page.
Over at Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights opens Nov. 7, Theme Park Insider reported.
So if a countdown calendar shows up in your cart this week, you’re not early. You’re right on Disney time.
