Tickets go up to $209. The exclusive fireworks show is gone from the listing. And the passholder discount that applies at the other two parks does not apply here.
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom returns on select nights from Jan. 11 through July 19, 2027, with tickets running $189 to $209 plus tax.
That is up from $175 to $199 in 2026.
Two things that came with the ticket last year are not on the 2027 listing.
Disney Enchantment is missing from the lineup
When Disney posted the 2027 dates, the mention of Disney Enchantment came off the Magic Kingdom After Hours page.
That one stings for a specific group of people. Enchantment debuted at Magic Kingdom on Oct. 1, 2021 for the resort’s 50th anniversary, ran nightly for everyone until April 2, 2023, then came back on Jan. 11, 2024 as an After Hours exclusive.
For three years, a party ticket was the only way to see it. Attendees could catch Happily Ever After during regular hours and then Enchantment later the same night. Two fireworks shows, one evening.
Disney has not formally announced the show’s removal. The listing just does not mention it anymore.
Happily Ever After still plays before the park closes to non-party guests.
No passholder discount at Magic Kingdom
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $30 per ticket at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Magic Kingdom, nothing.
Both groups could get discounted Magic Kingdom tickets in past years. Current reporting does not specify what that discount was worth, which matters for the math. The sticker increase is $10 to $14 depending on the date. For a passholder who used to get money off, the actual year-over-year jump is larger than that.
What the 2027 After Hours prices look like across all three parks
Magic Kingdom: $189 to $209, 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., entry from 7 p.m., 19 dates.
Hollywood Studios: $159 to $199, 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., 22 dates running through Aug. 25. One exception on April 24, when the event shifts to 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
EPCOT: $159 to $189, 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., 15 dates through Aug. 19.
Every park went up. The increases land between about $5 and $15 depending on park and date.
Why does Magic Kingdom end in July?
To clear the deck for Halloween.
Magic Kingdom’s After Hours dates always finish earlier than the other two parks because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes over the calendar in August. Same building, same after-hours slot, different party.
Disney Tourist Blog also read something into the skipped weeks in 2027, suggesting Disney scheduled fewer dates in certain months because demand did not support them. That is analysis, not a Disney statement.
When can you buy 2027 After Hours tickets?
Resort guests already can. Everyone else waits until Sept. 22.
Guests at Disney-owned hotels, the Swan and Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green got access starting Sept. 10.
What is actually included?
Shorter lines and free snacks.
The events run on limited capacity, which is the whole product. Tickets include complimentary Mickey ice cream bars, ice cream sandwiches, popcorn, bottled water, Coke, Diet Coke and Sprite at various locations around the park.
At $209 for three hours, that works out to roughly $70 an hour, though the 7 p.m. entry window stretches the actual park time to six hours.
Whether that math works depends entirely on how many times you have already ridden Space Mountain.
