Promenade Fine Art Galleries left Disney's BoardWalk in October 2025. It's coming back in December under a new name, Imagination Fine Art Gallery, in downtown Celebration.
A Disney World art gallery that went quiet a year ago has found a new home. Promenade Fine Art Galleries, which spent nearly three decades at Disney's BoardWalk, will reopen in December as Imagination Fine Art Gallery in downtown Celebration, Florida.
The new address is 605 Market Street, right in the middle of the little town Disney built just down the road from Walt Disney World.
The gallery hasn't announced an exact opening date yet. December is all we've got so far.
Here's a look inside the BoardWalk gallery before it closed:
Who owns Imagination Fine Art Gallery?
Two familiar faces. Joshua Segal, who spent years as the gallery's director, now owns the business with his partner, Alex "Lex" Tiffin.
The gallery calls the move a new chapter and says Celebration will be its permanent home.
What art will Imagination Fine Art Gallery sell?
Pretty much what fans already know. One of the gallery's art consultants says it will keep showing "the artists you know, love, and collect," and add more artists over time.
The gallery will also keep working with Disney Fine Art, according to AllEars, and plans to feature the same artists guests see at EPCOT's Festival of the Arts every winter. That means Disney paintings, sculptures and limited-edition pieces, the kind of art that makes you stop and stare while your kids beg to leave.
What is EPCOT's Festival of the Arts?
It's EPCOT's winter festival, and it's basically a giant open-air gallery. Every year, artists set up around World Showcase to sell paintings and prints and to meet fans, alongside food booths that look like art projects and a Broadway concert series.
Many of the artists who show there also sold work at the BoardWalk gallery. So if you've ever fallen for a painting at the festival, there's a good chance you'll find that artist's work on Market Street, too.
When did Promenade Fine Art Galleries close at Disney's BoardWalk?
It closed in October 2025. The gallery opened on the BoardWalk in 1996, near the BoardWalk Inn lobby, and was a fixture for collectors and window-shoppers for almost 30 years.
When it closed, the gallery said it would relocate, but it didn't say where. Fans have been waiting for an answer ever since.
What's replacing the art gallery at Disney's BoardWalk?
A soap shop. Disney says Basin on the BoardWalk will move into the roughly 2,300-square-foot space. It's a bath and body shop with a custom bath tea blending counter, a make-your-own-soap station and a soap embossing press.
Basin and the BoardWalk's other new spots start opening in late 2026.
What else is changing at Disney's BoardWalk?
A lot. The BoardWalk has been in the middle of a major shake-up:
Hurly-Burly, a new lounge, opened Oct. 1 in the old Jellyrolls space.
Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar, closed in April 2025 and is moving to a new spot about 10 minutes from Disney World.
The Cake Bake Shop opened in October 2024 and has been a hit.
The BoardWalk Inn refurbishment now stretches into 2027, pool closure included.
So the art gallery is the second longtime BoardWalk favorite to pack up and reopen somewhere nearby.
Where is Celebration, Florida?
Celebration sits just south of Walt Disney World, off U.S. 192, about a 10- to 15-minute drive from the parks. Disney developed the town in the 1990s, and its downtown is known for its walkable Main Street-style shops, lakefront and holiday "snow" nights.
If you're staying off-property, it's an easy stop on a rest day. And now there's one more reason to wander Market Street.
