Little Words Project added Ratatouille bracelets at Disney World and holiday Mickey designs on Disney Store, and Magic Kingdom now sells $29 Bestie Bracelets with a four-for-$69 deal.
The bracelet stack is still going strong at Disney World, and this week it got a few new links.
Little Words Project put new holiday designs online at the Disney Store. And over at Magic Kingdom, a new line called Bestie Bracelets showed up at Crystal Arts on Main Street, U.S.A., with bundle pricing built for friend groups.
What are Little Words Project bracelets?
They’re the beaded word bracelets you’ve probably seen stacked up someone’s arm in line for a ride. Each one spells out a word or short phrase in letter beads.
Adriana Carrig started the company with affirmation bracelets she made for herself and her sorority sisters, MickeyBlog wrote. The site now calls it one of the most popular merch lines at Disney World. The Disney versions add character charms and a little gold castle tag.
What Little Words Project holiday bracelets are on Disney Store?
Three new pieces, all marked new on Disney Store when we checked on Oct. 9:
Mickey Mouse Gingerbread “Oh Snap!”: green and red beads with a gingerbread Mickey charm, $32
Mickey Mouse Peppermint Swirl “Oh Joy”: pink and red beads with a peppermint Mickey charm, $32
Disney Parks Holiday Magic Bead Kit: a round, ornament-style jar of beads, letters and charms for making your own, $35
The “Oh Snap!” one wins the pun contest.
Gingerbread, snap, gingersnap. Fine, we’ll stop.
How much are Bestie Bracelets at Magic Kingdom?
One is $29. But the display pushes what it calls a “Fandom Bundle,” WDW News Today reported:
One bracelet: $29
Two bracelets: $50
Four bracelets: $69, as buy three, get one free
That four-pack works out to about $17.25 a bracelet, a lot better than buying one at a time. Two friends going halfsies on the pair pays $25 each.
What do the Disney Bestie Bracelets look like?
Each one is an adjustable woven cord with a metal emblem in the middle, decorated with crystals, colored enamel or both. Most designs come in more than one cord color, so a group can match or mix.
The designs WDW News Today found cover a lot of ground:
Tangled: a gold-tone Corona sun with a clear crystal
Frozen: a silver-tone snowflake with clear and light blue crystals
Moana: a dark blue crystal in silver-tone metalwork
Mickey and Minnie: gold-tone emblems with crystals, plus a Minnie bow
Stitch: a gold-tone Stitch filled with red, blue and green enamel
Belle: a red enamel rose
Tinker Bell: a tiny gold-tone Tink mid-flight
They’re only at Crystal Arts in Magic Kingdom for now.
Are friendship bracelets still a thing at Disney?
Clearly. Between Little Words Project, Bestie Bracelets and Disney Store’s bead kit, Disney is selling the finished bracelet and the do-it-yourself version at the same time.
Little Words Project also put out a Halloween collection with Disney in late September, with bracelets from $25 and sets up to $110. So by the time the holiday ones sell through, there will probably be Valentine’s Day beads waiting.
