Disney's new drinks kiosk on the walkway to Avengers Campus opens Thursday, Nov. 19, six days into the Disneyland Resort holiday season. Disneyland's own dining page still just says "Coming Soon."
Bountiful Valley Brews opens Thursday, Nov. 19, at Disney California Adventure. Disney Eats shared the date in its Instagram Stories on Thursday, Nov. 5, Laughing Place reported.
That's six days after Holidays at the Disneyland Resort begin Nov. 13, so the kiosk debuts with the park already in holiday mode. Disneyland's official dining page for the stand still said "Coming Soon," with no date, when we checked Thursday night.
The kiosk sits on the walkway between Buena Vista Street and Avengers Campus, in the old Radiator Springs Racers FastPass distribution area, Laughing Place reported. WDWNT said it had been watching the construction for several weeks.
We covered the menu Nov. 1. The headliner is the $21 Bountiful Valley Cocktail Flight, and full-size cocktails run $19 to $19.50.
What can you order at Bountiful Valley Brews?
Drinks, mostly, plus one snack. Disney's announced menu includes:
Cocktails: a Vodka Pomegranate-Blueberry Martini, a Strawberry-Mango Margarita with a chile-lime rim and a Southern Whiskey Peach Tea with a peach gummy ring
Flight: all three cocktails in sampler size
Beer and more: Southern California craft beers, two micheladas, Modelo and a hard seltzer
No alcohol: a Pomegranate-Blueberry Refresher and bottled water
Food: a Pepperoni Pizza Egg Roll with pesto dipping sauce, $8.29
Local touch: Bottle Logic's 714 Blonde Ale is named for Orange County's area code. The egg roll is the only food item listed so far. Disney's dining page also promises "seasonal light bites," so the snack lineup could grow.
How do you order at Bountiful Valley Brews?
Disney's dining page lists a few rules:
Mobile order: Available through the Disneyland app.
Alcohol: You must be 21 or older with a valid ID, and there's a limit of two alcoholic drinks per guest per transaction. Bring that ID even if you order on your phone.
Admission: You'll need same-day California Adventure admission, plus a park reservation if your ticket type requires one.
The stand is getting a new seating area, too, Laughing Place reported. That's handy, since sipping three cocktails while walking to Avengers Campus is a choice.
Where is Bountiful Valley Brews?
In what Disney calls the Performance Corridor, the "valley" between Buena Vista Street and Avengers Campus. Theme Park IQ placed it on the paved walkway past Carthay Circle Restaurant, across from the Grizzly Peak waterfall.
Disney's concept art shows a rustic, brewery-style stand, Laughing Place reported. If you're headed to WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure or Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, you'll walk right past it. MickeyBlog noted the area usually hosts seasonal offerings and festival kiosks.
What was Bountiful Valley Farm?
The kiosk's name nods to Bountiful Valley Farm, an agriculture-themed area that opened with Disney California Adventure in 2001, WDWNT noted.
Much of that space later became A Bug's Land, and the farm's shops and exhibits closed in 2010 to make room for Cars Land, Theme Park IQ reported. A Bug's Land itself closed in 2018 to make way for Avengers Campus.
So, 25 years later, the farm is back. As a bar. Very California.
