Disney Called Out For Using Duct Tape on Tiana's Bayou Adventure
Disney is being called out on X over the use of green duct tape to hold part of a truck together in the queue of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The attraction has only been open for about two years, but already it seems the side panel of a truck is trying to pop off.
This truck is in a place that guests can access, so it is possible someone yanked on it. Just like us, Disney grabbed the handy duct tape (could be gaff tape) to fix the issue.
Now X is discussing the MacGyver fix.
“Wouldn't be the first ride at WDW held together with duct tape. Can't find the picture but the outdoor section of Test Track 1.0 was held together by duct tape, noticable when the single rider line used to load in on the far left side of the building (door by merge point now).” - ScottKumka
“It’s ok! That’s just “go-away green” duct tape, no one will even see it!” -magicfergie
“I rode yesterday and the only consistently functioning scene was the finale. Most projections were working though which was surprising” - Kork
“If true, there’s chance for me to be an Imagineer yet. My go to DIY tool” - Hidden Magic
“My god Disney fix Tiana this is embarassing for a top.tier themepark.” - Ogie
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has a lot of issues.
Since this attraction opened in 2024, it has had a lot of issues with animatronics and screen projections. Maybe newer animatronics don’t mix with water and humidity.
