Boba drinks are now on four Disney Cruise Line ships, at Wheezy’s Freezies on the Wish, Treasure and Destiny and at Frozone Treats on the Fantasy. Here’s what Disney has shared so far.
Disney Cruise Line has a new drink on the pool deck, and it comes with chewy tapioca pearls.
Boba drinks are now on four ships, Disney Cruise Line announced on Instagram with the caption “To boba and beyond,” Laughing Place reported on Monday, Oct. 12.
The ships and spots:
Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny: Wheezy’s Freezies
Disney Fantasy: Frozone Treats
Availability varies by sailing, so Disney Cruise Line says to check onboard for what’s being served on your trip.
Wheezy’s Freezies is on all three Wish-class ships. Our Z Roll sailed all three and compared them, if you’re still picking a ship:
What boba flavors does Disney Cruise Line have?
Disney hasn’t posted a menu yet. Laughing Place said the photos look like a classic milk tea, matcha, taro and a few fruit teas, but Disney Cruise Line hasn’t confirmed any flavors.
Boba, also called bubble tea, is a sweet tea or fruit drink with tapioca pearls at the bottom. You drink it through an extra-wide straw so the pearls come up with each sip.
It started in Taiwan in the 1980s. The pearls are made from tapioca starch, which comes from the cassava root, and they’re cooked until they turn soft and chewy.
How much is boba on a Disney cruise?
Disney hasn’t said. On the Wish-class ships, the drinks appear to come in souvenir cups with the Wheezy’s Freezies logo, Laughing Place noted, and the outlet guessed they’re likely an extra charge.
A second photo showed drinks in barrel-shaped cups with the Disney Cruise Line logo. Prices should turn up on the onboard menus once guests start ordering.
What is Wheezy’s Freezies?
It’s a Toy Story-themed treat shop named for Wheezy, the penguin with the broken squeaker from Toy Story 2. By the end of that movie, he gets fixed and sings “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” with Robert Goulet providing the singing voice. On the Disney Destiny, it’s a poolside spot on Deck 12, WDW News Today reported when the ship launched.
The menu is written on big Etch-a-Sketch pads, which is a nice touch. Before boba, Wheezy’s was known for frozen-fruit smoothies and Dole Whip:
Squeaker
Cowboy Shake
To Infinity
Small Roar
Smell Like Berries
Pineapple Dole Whip
WDW News Today said those smoothies are on the Wish and Treasure too. The Destiny, which started sailing in November 2025, is themed to Disney heroes and villains.
What is Frozone Treats?
It’s the Incredibles-themed smoothie counter named for Frozone, Mr. Incredible’s ice-slinging best friend. Frozone Treats shows up on several Disney ships, and the Fantasy is the one getting boba for now.
The Fantasy first sailed in 2012, so this rollout isn’t limited to the newest part of the fleet.
Frozone Treats has its own Incredibles-flavored smoothie list. On the Disney Dream, Disney Food Blog’s menu page shows names like Gazerbeam, Synergizer, Peachy Dash and Berrilicious Mirage, plus Jack-Jack favorites in raspberry, banana and passion fruit.
Why is it called “To boba and beyond”?
It’s a Buzz Lightyear joke. His line from Toy Story is “To infinity and beyond,” and Wheezy’s Freezies is the Toy Story spot, so the pun pretty much wrote itself.
One of Wheezy’s existing smoothies is even called To Infinity. If Disney names a boba drink after Buzz, nobody will be surprised.
Which Disney cruise ships don’t have boba?
Disney Cruise Line only named four ships. If you’re booked on any other Disney ship, don’t count on boba yet.
Three of the four are Wish-class ships. The Disney Wish debuted in 2022, the Disney Treasure in 2024 and the Disney Destiny in 2025.
If boba matters to you, ask at Wheezy’s or Frozone Treats on day one. Availability can change from one sailing to the next.
And if you have a food allergy, ask the crew what goes into the milk teas and the pearls before you order. Disney hasn’t posted ingredients for the new drinks yet.
