Disney and Macy’s are celebrating a big birthday with a lot of balloons.
The full 2026 Disney and Macy’s holiday collection went live Oct. 7, and it’s built around the Disney character balloons that have floated through the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade over the years. This year’s parade is the 100th.
Some pieces are on macys.com now. The rest arrives in select Macy’s stores nationwide starting Thursday, Oct. 15, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
What’s in the 2026 Disney and Macy’s collection?
Four main groups, plus a lot of extras.
Balloons Through the Years shows Mickey’s parade balloons from different eras, with Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Spider-Man along for the ride. March to Macy’s has comic-strip style art of Mickey and friends heading to the parade.
There’s a Spider-Man set built around the Sinister Six. And there’s a Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey line, tied to the new balloon debuting at this year’s parade. That part of the collection first launched Aug. 13.
The brands in the mix include Loungefly, Hallmark, Crocs, Swarovski and Citizen.

At full price, the cheapest new item we saw was the 10-pack eraser set at $15. An older Minnie Mouse parade balloon plush was also on sale for $9.99, down from $24.99.
What Loungefly and Hallmark items are in the collection?
Pins, bags, and ornaments, mostly.
Loungefly has a Mickey Parade Balloons Through the Years 4-piece pin set, plus single pins for Donald, Minnie, Buzz and Spider-Man. Its Mini Backpacks are shaped like the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey, Minnie, Buzz and Spider-Man balloons. There’s also a Mickey balloon ears headband.
Hallmark made blown glass balloon ornaments, including a Mickey Parade Balloons Through the Years ornament set with Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey and Bandleader Mickey.
Crocs has a Macy’s-exclusive tote bag with clouds on it that you can load up with Jibbitz charms.
Why is 2026 the 100th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?
Because it skipped three years. The first parade marched in 1924, but it was canceled in 1942, 1943 and 1944 during World War II, when materials like rubber went to the war effort, according to NBC.
That’s why 2026, and not 2024, gets the 100th march.
The parade is Thursday, Nov. 26. Mickey’s first balloon showed up in 1934, and Spider-Man’s debuted in 1987, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
When does the Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey balloon debut?
On Thanksgiving Day. It’s the new Disney balloon for this year’s parade, dressed as Mickey from Fantasia, with his blue wizard hat.
Disney says it plans to reveal more holiday products over the next few months. For now, the sweatshirt is $55, and the balloon is free to watch on TV.
