The Disney x Champion NFL collection pairs a Disney character with all 32 teams, from Darth Vader and the Raiders to Stinky Pete and the 49ers. A few designs are already running low.
Every NFL team now has a Disney character, and some of the matchups are pretty funny.
The Disney | Champion NFL Collection pairs a character from Disney, Pixar, Marvel or Star Wars with all 32 NFL teams. It’s made by Champion and sold through Fanatics, NFL Shop, Disney Store and select Lids stores.
A few pieces are already hard to find. Disney Food Blog reported Sept. 20 that the Hercules and Pegasus Chargers sweatshirt was down to one size at Disney Store, and the Stinky Pete 49ers sweatshirt was selling out in some sizes.
What Disney character goes with each NFL team?

Why is Stinky Pete paired with the 49ers?
Because Stinky Pete is a prospector, and the 49ers are named after the gold rush prospectors of 1849. It’s one of the smarter picks on the list.
That kind of wordplay is the whole idea. Bret Healey, director of graphic design at Disney Consumer Products, told the Disney Parks Blog that his favorite picks are the ones “that make you pause for a second. Then it clicks.”

Falcons and the Millennium Falcon, because of course
Seahawks and the seagulls, which Seattle fans will either love or hate
Commanders and Hamm, the piggy bank from “Toy Story,” which is probably a nod to Washington’s famous “Hogs” offensive line
Eagles and Doctor Doom, which might sting a little for Philly fans

Champion Reverse Weave crew sweatshirts: $119.99
Full-zip hoodies: $129.99
That’s premium pricing. Reverse Weave is Champion’s heavyweight fleece, the thick sweatshirt material the brand is known for.
When did the Disney NFL collection come out?
In two waves. The first eight designs were shown at Fanatics Fest in New York on July 16. The full 32-team collection launched Aug. 24 at 9 a.m. ET.
So it’s been out about a month, and with the NFL season now in full swing, some sizes are starting to thin out, especially at Disney Store.

Is Disney doing more with the NFL?
Disney already owns ESPN, which airs Monday Night Football, so Disney and the NFL work together all season. The apparel line is a fun extra on top of that.
And the players are joining in, too. On Sept. 21, Laughing Place shared a clip of Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers doing the Hot Dog Dance from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.” His team’s character is Thor, but apparently his heart belongs to Mickey.
