Instagram user showcases a creative food trick to feed three people for about $20 in EPCOT at Walt Disney World.
Disney Parks are expensive, and the company is always looking for more ways to raise prices.
Park guests are always looking for hacks or tricks to save money, and this is a good one. It takes a bit of work and could be messy, but the result is three large sandwiches for about $20!
Instagram user mariajlane7 has all kinds of tips posted, including this sandwich hack.
Here’s how to make the ultimate Turkey Leg Sandwich for around $20 that can easily feed 3 people:
🥖 Step 1: Head to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion and grab a fresh baguette (around $5).
🍗 Step 2: Walk over to Fife & Drum Tavern in the American Adventure Pavilion and order a turkey leg (around $15).
🌭 Step 3: Grab some mustard from the condiment station right next to the turkey leg stand.
🪑 Step 4: Find a nearby table, slice open the baguette, shred the turkey, add the mustard, and enjoy!
I’m not kidding… this may be the best sandwich I’ve ever had at EPCOT. It’s filling, delicious, and one of the best values in the park!
As someone who has spent a lot of time at Disney Parks, I think this is a great idea!
Finding a table might be the biggest issue for you. I don’t think this would be good trashcan dining.
Fish Sandwich?
You could also do something similar by buying the Fish and Chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop at the UK pavilion and adding the fried fish to the inside of the baguette.
Fish and chips are about $15. Just cut the fish lengthwise if there aren’t enough pieces to fill the bread. Spread some of the tartar sauce in there, and you have a sandwich with bonus French fries.
Disney allows guests to bring food into the parks under these guidelines.
“Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverage items into the park for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers and do not require heating, reheating, processing, refrigeration or temperature control and do not have pungent odors. Inform a Security Cast Member of any food items when you enter the park.”
You can bring your own sandwiches, but carting all that around could become a problem. This hack lets you spend less and carry less.
What other options can you make this sandwich out of at EPCOT? Have an idea. Let us know in the comments!
