Disney released a video from the vantage point atop all four theme park Christmas trees in Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT are all showcased in the short clip.
Disney Parks has a new video showcasing the gigantic holiday trees going up at the four theme parks of Walt Disney World.
The view comes from the crane as it is putting the pieces on top, and gives fans a fantastic look at the area around the tree and what can be seen from the top.
EPCOT and Magic Kingdom have the best views.
Each park has its own holiday look, mostly up from early November into early January:
Magic Kingdom has the most classic Christmas look. Main Street U.S.A. gets garland, wreaths, and a giant tree in Town Square.
EPCOT themes World Showcase by country. Each pavilion decorates in its own nation’s holiday style for the Festival of the Holidays, which runs Nov. 27 to Dec. 30. Of course, there is a gigantic tree.
Hollywood Studios goes for old-Hollywood “Tinseltown” glamour. All the decorations are vintage-inspired. Even Gertie gets a holiday hat!
Animal Kingdom uses winter animal and cultural themes. Discovery Island gets winter animal motifs and the Merry Menagerie puppets, and Asia and Africa get decor in their own styles. This year’s change: the new Santa’s Holiday Grove near Theater in the Wild, with a snow-flurry trail, replaces the old DinoLand holiday setup.
Visiting Walt Disney World in November and December is absolutely magical, except for the holiday crowds.
I do recommend visiting during early to mid-November or early December for lighter traffic.
