Is the Binx bag worth it?
Laughing Place thinks so. Its writer called the Binx tote “the real winner of this year’s assortment.”
It’s a black bucket bag with Binx’s face on the front, a drawstring top, a handle and a shoulder strap. Basically, a purse that looks like a very judgmental cat. That tracks for Binx.
At $49.99 it’s not cheap. But it also works well past Oct. 31, unlike a sweatshirt with three witches on it.
What does “Amuck, amuck, amuck” mean in Hocus Pocus?
It’s one of Winifred’s most quoted lines. “Amuck,” also spelled “amok,” means running wild, which is pretty much the Sanderson Sisters’ entire plan. Bette Midler’s delivery is a big reason it keeps showing up on merch.
The cauldron mug and the pink women’s tee both use it.
Is Hocus Pocus 3 happening?
Yes, but there’s no release date.
Disney made it official on May 6, 2026. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are all coming back as Winifred, Sarah and Mary. Anne Fletcher is set to direct again, and Jen D’Angelo is writing, both returning from Hocus Pocus 2.
Parade reported that a Halloween 2027 release looks more realistic than this year. So for now, the sisters are on sweatshirts and not on screen.
Hocus Pocus 2 came out on Disney+ on Sept. 30, 2022, and set a record at the time for the most-watched movie premiere on the service in the U.S.
Where can you watch Hocus Pocus this Halloween?
Both movies are streaming on Disney+. If you’d rather catch it on TV, Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween airs the original Hocus Pocus six times in October, starting Oct. 1, per Fantasyland News.
At Walt Disney World, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is back at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom this year. The sisters host a stage show with a bunch of other Disney villains.
What other Hocus Pocus collectibles are out in 2026?
If you want to go bigger than a mug, Department 56 has a Hocus Pocus village collection out this fall. It includes a light-up Sanderson Sisters Cottage for $202.40 and a small Sanderson Sisters figurine for $44.98, per The Main Street Mouse.
The original Hocus Pocus came out in July 1993 and didn’t do much at the box office. It found its audience later, mostly on TV every October. More than 30 years later, it’s still selling cauldron mugs. Not bad for a movie that underperformed in theaters.
