Teachers could win a trip to Walt Disney World, with some help from the Muppets.
Disney Imagination Campus has announced its 2027 Teachers Sweepstakes, which will send 15 K-12 educators to Walt Disney World for a special celebration, Disney announced Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The Muppets will join the fun.
What do the Disney teachers sweepstakes winners get?
A four-day, three-night stay at Walt Disney World from Thursday, April 29, through Sunday, May 2, 2027, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, according to Disney.
The prize includes Disney Imagination Campus experiences, time with other educators, a special nighttime event, and access to all four Walt Disney World theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Winners’ travel companions are included in the evening event.
Who can enter the Disney Imagination Campus Teachers Sweepstakes?
K-12 teachers who are 21 or older and legal residents of the 50 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico, according to the official rules.
No purchase is necessary, and buying something won’t improve your odds.
How do you enter the Disney teachers sweepstakes?
Online at disneycampus.com/disneyteacherssweepstakes. The sweepstakes opened Oct. 1, 2026, and entries close at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2027, according to the rules.
Fifteen winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries. Full rules are at seerules.com/imagination26sweeps.
What will the Muppets do at the teachers’ celebration?
Disney hasn’t shared details. The release says the Muppets will join the celebration but doesn’t name which characters or describe their role.
The Muppets have a home at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where guests can ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
The park’s longtime MuppetVision 3D show closed in 2025 to make room for a new Monsters, Inc. area, so the coaster is now the Muppets’ biggest stop at the park.
What is Disney Imagination Campus?
Disney’s education program for students and groups. Its workshops mix imagination with real-world skills and give a behind-the-scenes look at how Disney approaches creativity and learning, according to Disney.
Teacher winners get to step into the role of students during their trip. Schools and youth groups can also book Disney Imagination Campus programs for class trips to the parks.
Who won the 2026 Disney teachers sweepstakes?
Fifteen elementary, middle, and high school educators were picked from thousands of entries, Disney said. They were honored with a weekend at Walt Disney World that included a photo with Mickey and Minnie Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle on May 1, 2026.
When is Teacher Appreciation Week 2027?
Teacher Appreciation Week is usually held during the first full week of May. In 2027, that falls right after the Disney celebration ends.
Many businesses and restaurants offer teacher discounts and freebies that week, so it’s a good time for educators to look for deals.
Does Disney offer teacher discounts?
Disney’s ticket deals change often, so check the Walt Disney World website for current offers. Special events like this sweepstakes, plus Disney Imagination Campus programs, give educators unique ways to experience the parks.
What are other Disney sweepstakes tips?
Read the official rules closely. Note the entry deadline, how many times you can enter and how winners will be contacted. Disney will never ask for a payment to claim a sweepstakes prize, so watch out for scams that pretend to be from Disney.
