It’s September 2026, and people are already booking 2027. If that’s you, here’s the calendar.
Disney has locked in a surprising number of 2027 dates at Walt Disney World, and more are coming. The most urgent one is tomorrow: 2027 Disney After Hours tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Here’s everything with a real date attached, plus the stuff that’s only been given a season.
When are Disney After Hours events in 2027?
Disney announced 47 After Hours nights across three parks for 2027, per WDW News Today:
Magic Kingdom: 16 nights, $189 to $209 plus tax, 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Hollywood Studios: 18 nights, $159 to $199 plus tax, usually 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
EPCOT: 13 nights, $159 to $189 plus tax, 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Guests can enter as early as 7 p.m. at all three. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $30 per ticket at Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Animal Kingdom isn’t part of the lineup this time.
Resort guests, passholders and DVC members could already buy. Everyone else gets their shot Tuesday.
When is EPCOT Festival of the Arts 2027?
Jan. 15 through March 1, 2027. It’s the usual mix of art displays, food booths and free Broadway concerts. Disney also teased Disney Lorcana scavenger hunts and new Figment popcorn buckets, per Mickey Visit.
When is EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival 2027?
March 10 through May 31, 2027. That’s only nine days after Festival of the Arts wraps up, so EPCOT will be flipping from paintings to topiaries in a hurry.
When is the Disney Skyliner closed in 2027?
The Skyliner closes for annual maintenance Jan. 24 to 30, 2027, per our earlier coverage. If you’re staying at Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century or Art of Animation that week, plan on buses to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios instead.
When does Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge open?
July 1, 2027. It’s the newest Disney Vacation Club resort, with suites and lake houses, and booking opens Oct. 6 of this year.
What new rides are coming to Disney World in 2027?
These have a year, but no firm date yet:
Monstropolis, phase one, at Hollywood Studios, expected in summer 2027, including The Glob Theater and its “Welcome to Monstropolis” show. The Monsters, Inc. door coaster comes later.
Tropical Americas at Animal Kingdom, including Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto and a carousel. Inside the Magic says Disney hasn’t confirmed a month, and some trackers think it could slip into 2028.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom closes Nov. 2, 2026
Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT reopens Nov. 4, 2026

Is it too early to book a 2027 Disney World trip?
Not at all. 2027 tickets and packages are already on sale.
A few booking windows to keep in mind:
Resort rooms can be booked well over a year out
Dining reservations open 60 days before your trip
After Hours events tend to sell out, especially at Magic Kingdom
Disney World doesn’t publish an official crowd calendar. The festival dates are a decent guide, though. The Festival of the Arts and Flower and Garden stretches tend to be busier on weekends, and spring break weeks in March are always packed.
