Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom get longer hours the week of Nov. 8, Jingle Cruise returns Nov. 3, and hotel guests can’t ride it during Early Entry. Here’s what’s changing.
November at Disney World just got a little longer, at least in a few parks.
Disney has added extra hours at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for the week of Nov. 8, MickeyBlog reported Monday. PNP checked the new times against Disney World’s official hours calendar.
At the same time, Jingle Cruise returns to Magic Kingdom on Nov. 3. Hotel guests hoping to ride it first thing should know one catch: it isn’t part of Early Entry, Disney Food Blog pointed out.
Here’s what Jingle Cruise looked like last year, from WDW News Today:
What are Magic Kingdom’s new November hours?
Magic Kingdom now opens an hour earlier on its party days and stays open an hour later on its regular nights that week, according to Disney’s calendar and MickeyBlog:
Sunday, Nov. 8: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (was 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Monday, Nov. 9: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (was 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Tuesday, Nov. 10: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (was 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
Wednesday, Nov. 11: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (was 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
Friday, Nov. 13: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (was 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Saturday, Nov. 14: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. (was 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.)
The 6 p.m. closings are for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights. The party’s first night is Nov. 8, and Disney’s calendar lists it from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Which other Disney World parks got more hours?
Animal Kingdom now stays open later on four nights, according to MickeyBlog and Disney’s calendar:
Nov. 8, 9 and 13: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (was 6 p.m.)
Nov. 14: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (was 6 p.m.)
That means more time to see the Tree of Life’s nighttime show. Tree of Life Nighttime Awakenings starts at 6:05 p.m. on those nights, MickeyBlog reported.
Hollywood Studios changed just one day. On Nov. 14, a Disney Jollywood Nights night, it opens at 8:30 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. and still closes at 7 p.m.
EPCOT’s hours didn’t change.
Can you ride Jingle Cruise during Early Entry?
No. Jingle Cruise isn’t on Disney’s list of Magic Kingdom attractions planned for Early Entry, and nothing in Adventureland is, Disney Food Blog noted.
Disney’s Early Entry page lists rides in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland instead, including:
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Peter Pan’s Flight
Space Mountain
“it’s a small world”
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
Early Entry gives guests at Disney hotels and some other nearby hotels 30 minutes in the parks before they open, every day of their stay. Disney says the perk will continue through 2027.
So if Jingle Cruise is your first stop, you’ll be waiting at the Adventureland rope with everyone else at official opening, Disney Food Blog said.
What is Jingle Cruise?
It’s the holiday version of the Jungle Cruise, with festive decorations and a script full of holiday puns. Unlike Very Merry party extras, it’s open to everyone with regular park admission.
Jingle Cruise returns Nov. 3 for the season, as PNP reported Oct. 11.
What else is closed or changing at Disney World in November?
A few things to plan around, according to WDWInfo:
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure closes for refurbishment Nov. 2 and is scheduled to reopen Dec. 18.
Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress stays closed for its big update, with a reopening planned for spring 2027.
Typhoon Lagoon stays closed for its annual refurbishment until spring 2027. Blizzard Beach is open.
The Walt Disney World Railroad is set to reopen Oct. 30 on a shortened route between Main Street, U.S.A. and Fantasyland, while Frontierland’s station stays closed for construction.
Holiday treats start arriving Nov. 6 at Animal Kingdom, Nov. 7 at Hollywood Studios and Nov. 8 at Magic Kingdom, according to Disney’s new holiday foodie guide.
As always, park hours can change, so check Disney’s calendar or the My Disney Experience app before you go.
