Walt Disney World’s free bag delivery from Orlando International Airport now covers Coronado Springs and both Port Orleans resorts, according to fan sites citing Disney’s website.
Walt Disney World’s free Airport Luggage Transfer service now reaches three more Moderate Resorts, according to reports Thursday from MickeyBlog and Kenny the Pirate. The new additions are Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, including Gran Destino Tower, and both halves of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort.
That means guests at Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside and Coronado Springs can now skip baggage claim at Orlando International Airport. Your bags meet you at the hotel instead.
What is Disney World’s Airport Luggage Transfer?
Airport Luggage Transfer is a free pilot program that moves checked bags between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and select Disney hotels. Disney’s official page says a company called BagCheck runs it.
It works both ways. On arrival, you check bags with your airline and head straight to your resort. On departure, you drop bags at the hotel and skip the airport check-in line.
Disney does not charge for the service. Your airline still charges its normal bag fees, and tips for Bell Services are not included.
Which Disney World resorts have luggage transfer now?
Kenny the Pirate lists eight resorts after this expansion.
Value: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, Pop Century and Art of Animation
Moderate: Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs (including Gran Destino Tower), Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside
Disney’s own luggage page still listed only the original six resorts when PNP checked it Thursday, so it may just need an update.
When did the service start at the new resorts?
Neither MickeyBlog nor Kenny the Pirate gives an exact start date. Both report on Oct. 29 that the service is available now, based on Disney’s website.
We could not find a Disney Parks Blog post or press release on the change. The sign-up form asks for your resort reservation number, so it should flag any eligibility problem early.
How do you sign up for Disney World luggage transfer?
Registration happens online through BagCheck’s Walt Disney World enrollment page. Disney says you can sign up between 30 days and 24 hours before your departing flight. Have your resort and flight confirmation numbers ready.
More than 7 days out: BagCheck mails you luggage tags.
7 days or less: No tags arrive, but your bags still get delivered.
No tags within 72 hours of your flight: Call BagCheck, because the airport does not hand out extra tags.
On arrival day, drop your bags with your airline at MCO and go to your resort. Disney says bags can take up to four hours after landing to show up. Grab them at Bell Services or call from your room.
Going home, leave the tags on and drop bags with Bell Services between 24 and 4 hours before your flight. Bring a photo ID and your boarding pass, since the hotel does not print them.
Which airlines work with Disney’s luggage service?
Four airlines are on the list: American Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines. Disney’s page says more carriers may be added.
Disney Tourist Blog reports the program returned as a Pop Century pilot in late March 2025 and spread to all Value Resorts that April. Arriving guests were added in November 2025.
American and United joined Southwest in 2026, and JetBlue followed. Caribbean Beach became the first Moderate Resort on Aug. 18, 2026.
What are the limits on Disney World luggage transfer?
A few rules apply before you pack.
Domestic flights only. International trips are not eligible.
Participating hotels and airlines only. Switch to another airline or hotel and you lose eligibility.
Airline size and weight rules apply.
Keep valuables with you. Medications, laptops, power banks, cameras, perishables and passports belong in your carry-on.
Strollers and car seats can be gate-checked. Disney says those go to the hotel unless you ask the gate agent to hold them for you.
Does this mean Disney’s Magical Express is back?
No. This service only handles bags, so you still need your own ride from MCO to the resort.
Disney Tourist Blog had guessed in August that Port Orleans would come before Coronado Springs, the convention hotel. Disney added both at once. Every Deluxe hotel is still off the list, and Disney has not said whether more resorts are coming.
