Lightning Lane Premier Pass now costs $479 per person at Magic Kingdom on Nov. 23, a new high, and the other three Disney World parks just set records for Thanksgiving week too.
If you were hoping to skip every line at Magic Kingdom over Thanksgiving, start saving now. Disney World’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass just set a new record price, and it’s $479 per person.
WDWMagic reported Monday, Nov. 2, that Premier Pass prices hit all-time highs at all four Disney World parks for Monday, Nov. 23. That’s the Monday of Thanksgiving week, one of the busiest weeks of the year at the resort.
How much is Lightning Lane Premier Pass on Nov. 23?
Here’s what WDWMagic found for Nov. 23, per person:
Magic Kingdom: $479 (the old high was $449)
Hollywood Studios: $369 (old high $349)
EPCOT: $269 (old high $249)
Animal Kingdom: $219 (old high $199)
That’s a $30 jump at Magic Kingdom and $20 at the other three. According to WDWMagic, the old records were first set on Thanksgiving Day 2024 and were matched as recently as Nov. 22, 2026.
WDWNT’s guide lists Premier Pass prices before tax, so the real checkout number lands higher. A family of four at Magic Kingdom on Nov. 23 would pay $1,916 for the passes alone, before tax and before anybody buys a park ticket.
What does Lightning Lane Premier Pass include?
Disney’s official page says Premier Pass gets you “one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience in one park for one day.” There are no return times to book. You walk up to the Lightning Lane entrance whenever you want.
Guests at Disney resort hotels and some other hotels can buy passes up to 7 days before their stay. Everyone else can buy up to 3 days before their park day. Disney also notes that “purchasing is subject to limited quantities.”
That last part matters. WDWMagic said Magic Kingdom’s Premier Pass was already unavailable for Nov. 2 through Nov. 5. BlogMickey reported on Nov. 1 that those days sold out at $429, with Nov. 5 at $419.
Is $479 the top price for Thanksgiving week?
Maybe not. Nov. 23 is currently the furthest date you can buy, so the rest of Thanksgiving week isn’t on sale yet. Prices could climb once it is.
There’s one clue. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is already on sale through Nov. 28, and WDWMagic says it peaks on Nov. 23 at every park. Magic Kingdom’s Multi Pass hits $45 that day, then drops to $39 to $42 for the rest of the week. Premier Pass doesn’t always follow Multi Pass, but WDWMagic called it “one sign” that the start of the week may be the peak.
Disney Tourist Blog reported in October that Disney planned to raise peak Premier Pass prices by $50 at all four parks, which would put Magic Kingdom’s top price at $499. It expected that around Thanksgiving or Christmas. So the $500 Lightning Lane may not be far off.
How much has Premier Pass gone up since it launched?
A lot, and fast. Premier Pass started selling in late October 2024. Laughing Place reported launch prices of $329 to $399 at Magic Kingdom, $269 to $309 at Hollywood Studios, $169 to $229 at EPCOT and $129 to $159 at Animal Kingdom.
At first, only Disney resort guests could buy it. That opened up to everyone in January 2025, according to WDWNT.
For Nov. 9 to 22 this year, WDWMagic lists Magic Kingdom at $399 to $449. So even the “cheap” days now cost what the top days did at launch.
Does Disneyland charge as much for Premier Pass?
Close. Disney Tourist Blog reported a Disneyland record of $449 in June, with most dates running $299 to $399.
The cheaper Lightning Lane Single Passes went up too. Disney Tourist Blog said TRON Lightcycle / Run rose to $25 and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to $18 starting Nov. 1.
Will Premier Pass sell out for Thanksgiving?
WDWMagic’s answer was “Probably.” Premier Pass has sold out during busy stretches over and over, and some guests clearly think close to $500 is worth never seeing a standby line.
If that’s you, don’t wait. If it isn’t, there’s always the classic Disney strategy: rope drop, a good app game and a lot of patience.
