The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort reopens Sept. 30 after a phased refurbishment that took most of 2026. Disney showed off the new menu Wednesday, and one dish uses flowers grown at EPCOT.
Saratoga Springs is getting its restaurant back.
Disney said Wednesday that the Turf Club Bar and Grill reopens Sept. 30, and it posted a first look at the food. Prime rib, a pork shank, a fried chicken and waffle, and a halibut dish dressed with flowers picked at EPCOT.
The restaurant is the only table-service spot at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. It has been dark since mid-August.
What’s on the new Turf Club menu?
The lineup, per Disney Parks Blog, splits into the usual three courses.
Starters: French onion soup, sweet-and-spicy Brussels sprouts, golden-fried calamari and lemon butter shrimp.
Entrees: slow-roasted prime rib, a char-grilled butcher’s steak, the Turf Club burger, braised pork shank, corn flake-breaded fried chicken and waffle, and a smoked salmon-wrapped halibut.
That halibut is the one to notice. Disney says it comes garnished with edible nasturtium flowers grown in the Land pavilion at EPCOT, which is the greenhouse you float past on Living with the Land. So the garnish on your fish at Saratoga Springs grew up, at some point, on a boat ride.
Desserts run to a chocolate-hazelnut cake, vanilla bean cheesecake, a salted caramel pot de creme and an apple tart.
No sign of the old menu’s standouts in the blog post, so whether anything survived the rewrite is a question for the first reservation. Disney’s first look reads like a full reset.
What cocktails does the new Turf Club serve?
The bar leans on name-brand bottles. Disney called out Michter’s single barrel rye and Don Julio reposado in the cocktail list.
There’s a zero-proof option too, the Enchanted Grove Lime Splash, which is cucumber and mint.
Disney did not publish prices, hours or reservation details with the first look. The blog post is photos and a menu rundown. Nothing else.
How long was the Turf Club closed?
Most of the year, in pieces.
The refurbishment ran in phases. The Turf Club Lounge closed in early April and came back Aug. 31, per wdwmagic, and the patio was closed through mid-August.
Then the main dining room went down in mid-August for the last stretch.
So the Bar and Grill itself was closed about six and a half weeks. The lounge, on the other hand, was gone for roughly five months.
For a resort with one sit-down restaurant, that was a long time to send people to Disney Springs for dinner. Which, to be fair, is a short walk or a boat ride away, so nobody starved.
What is the Turf Club’s theme?
Horse racing, still.
Saratoga Springs is themed to the upstate New York racing town, and the restaurant keeps the vintage equestrian memorabilia on the walls. The windows look out on the golf course, Lake Buena Vista and Disney Springs across the water.
The reworked menu fits that look. Prime rib and rye whiskey are turn-of-the-century racetrack food, or at least what Disney imagines it to be.
When can you book the Turf Club?
Disney hasn’t said. The first look skips reservations entirely, and the restaurant’s page on the Disney World site still carried the refurbishment notice Wednesday morning, with “no times available” where the hours go.
That page does list a price range, though: dinner entrees from $15 to $34.99. That range is from before the refurbishment, so the new menu could land anywhere around it.
Figure on reservations opening sometime before the 30th, and check the app rather than the blog.
Whether the prime rib is worth the wait is a question for the first week of guests.
