Disneyland Resort’s new winter offers cut up to 20% off rooms at its hotels on weeknights from Jan. 4 to Feb. 25, 2027, and Disney Visa holders can save up to 30%.
If you’ve been eyeing a Disneyland trip after the holiday crowds clear out, Disney just gave you a reason to book now.
Disneyland Resort announced two new hotel offers on Tuesday, Nov. 3, for winter stays in 2027. One is open to everyone. The other is for Disney Visa Cardmembers, and it goes a little deeper.
Both cover Sunday through Thursday nights from Jan. 4 through Feb. 25, 2027, according to WDWNT and Laughing Place. That’s the quiet stretch after the holidays wrap up, when the lines usually shrink and so do the prices.
How much can you save at Disneyland hotels this winter?
The general offer saves up to 20% on select rooms. WDWNT reports it applies to Standard, Premium and Concierge room types.
The Disney Visa offer saves up to 25% on standard rooms and up to 30% on premium and concierge rooms, per WDWNT. Laughing Place confirms the “up to 30%” top end for cardmembers.
Both deals work at the same four places:
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Disneyland Hotel
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
Pixar Place Hotel
You can book now through Feb. 17, 2027, and your stay has to wrap up by Feb. 26, 2027. Disney didn’t post a minimum stay for either offer, at least in the terms reported so far.
Which Disneyland hotel should you pick?
That depends on how much walking you want to do and how much pixie dust you need.
The Grand Californian sits right inside Disney California Adventure, with its own entrance into the park. It’s the splurge pick, and the one where a 30% discount stings the least.
The Disneyland Hotel is the classic, with light-up castle headboards and a short walk to Downtown Disney. Pixar Place Hotel is the newest of the bunch, rethemed from the old Paradise Pier Hotel in 2024, with Pixar characters all over the place.
What are the rules for the Disney Visa hotel offer?
There are a few, and they matter. WDWNT reports that you have to mention the offer when you book. You also have to pay with a valid Disney Visa card or a Disney Rewards Redemption Card, or Disney charges the regular rate.
The cardmember who books has to show the card at check-in and stay in one of the rooms, according to WDWNT. There’s a limit of two rooms per reservation, and an extra charge for each adult beyond two in a room.
WDWNT also lists some exclusions. Signature and Premium suites are out, and so are two- and three-bedroom villas. Rooms you’ve already booked don’t count, and the deals can’t be combined with other hotel discounts.
Park tickets aren’t included with either offer. You’ll still need tickets and, where required, a park reservation.
Disney hasn’t said whether Disney Vacation Club points stays at The Villas qualify. If you’re a member, call before you assume.
Is there a Disneyland ticket deal for 2027?
Disney hadn’t announced a 2027 ticket offer as of Nov. 3.
Disneyland has run a Southern California resident ticket deal in early-year windows before. Disney Tourist Blog expects another one sometime in early 2027, but that’s a prediction, not an announcement.
So for now, this is a hotel-only discount. If you want to stack savings, keep an eye on Disney’s offers page after the new year.
Is January a good time to visit Disneyland?
For a lot of people, yes. The resort’s holiday season runs Nov. 13, 2026, through Jan. 6, 2027, so a stay after Jan. 6 misses the festive overlays and treats.
The trade-off is usually smaller crowds. Midweek dates in January and February tend to be some of the calmer days on the calendar, which is exactly when these discounts apply.
There’s one more thing to plan around. Winter is when Disneyland usually takes some rides down for upkeep. Autopia is expected to close in early 2027 for its switch to electric cars, but Disney hasn’t posted a date. Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday also typically close in January while crews remove the holiday overlays.
Check the refurbishment calendar before you lock in your must-ride list, and book soon if you want the room you have in mind. These offers are subject to availability, and the terms say only a limited number of rooms are set aside.
