Disney is offering up to 20 percent off stays of three nights or more at all four Disneyland Resort hotels, including Pixar Place this time. Booking opens in seven days for travel starting in October.
Mark Tuesday, Sept. 22.
That is the day a new Disneyland Resort hotel discount opens for booking, with savings of up to 20 percent on select stays of three nights or longer.
All four Disney hotels are in it, which has not been true for a while.
What is the Disneyland hotel offer?
Up to 20 percent off, on most nights starting in October, for stays of three or more nights.
The four properties: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Pixar Place Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel.
Pixar Place being included is the part longtime planners will notice. The reimagined hotel was left out of several consecutive special offers after its redo, and now it is back in the mix.
What are the exclusions?
Read these before you get excited about the headline number.
Savings vary by room category, and they vary by rate season. That second one does most of the work. A discount off a peak-season rack rate and a discount off a slow-Tuesday rate are not the same discount, even when the percentage matches.
The three-night minimum is firm. Weekend-only trips do not qualify.
The offer is described as valid on most nights in the travel window rather than all nights, so holiday stretches are likely thin. If you have flexibility, weekdays away from Fall Break, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas will price better and be less crowded.
Availability is limited, as it always is.
The gap nobody is talking about
There appear to be no Disneyland hotel discounts covering Sept. 8 through Oct. 10, 2026.
That is over a month, and most of it is not a high-occupancy period. Fall Break only picks up at the tail end. A five-week hole in the discount calendar during a soft season is unusual.
One theory is that Magic Key or Disney Visa offers land first and cover that window. Nobody at Disney has said so.
If you were planning a late September Disneyland trip on the assumption a deal would show up, it has not.
What else changed at Disneyland hotels this year
Two things, and both affect whether staying on-site is worth the premium.
Early Theme Park Entry ended for Disneyland Resort hotel guests on Jan. 5. The 30-minute head start is gone, replaced by one complimentary Lightning Lane per guest, per stay, on a Multi Pass attraction.
And Pixar Place Hotel‘s private entrance into Disney California Adventure closed permanently in early 2026. All on-site guests now enter DCA through the Grand Californian entrance.
That second one may be relevant to why Pixar Place is in this offer at all.
Are there Disney World discounts right now?
Annual Passholder room discounts run through Oct. 3. Florida Residents can save up to 35 percent on four-night-plus stays through Oct. 3. U.S. military rates of up to 30 percent run most nights through Dec. 18, with bookings due by that same date.
Industry watchers expect the next full round of Walt Disney World discounts between mid-September and early October.
One more date for anyone planning EPCOT at Christmas. Candlelight Processional dining packages open for booking Oct. 14, and that package is realistically the only way to guarantee a seat on a weekend night.
Seven days until the Disneyland window opens. The good rooms go in the first hour.
