The Disney Parks mini backpack puts Pooh in a fuzzy Santa hat, hugging a gift-wrapped hunny jar, with three bees in Santa hats on the straps. It hit Disney Store Oct. 12, and it tops every recent Disney Parks holiday mini we found, by a dollar.
Winnie the Pooh is dressed as Santa this year, and he’d like $100, please.
The Winnie the Pooh Holiday Loungefly Mini Backpack landed on Disney Store on Monday, Oct. 12, as part of a new Pooh Christmas collection. Disney Food Blog went all in on it, with a headline saying the bag “Will Be Everywhere This Year.”
It was in stock online as of early Oct. 13.
What does the Winnie the Pooh Christmas Loungefly look like?
The whole bag is Pooh. His face is the front, and he’s wearing a red Santa hat with white faux fur trim.
The front zip pocket is his 3D paws hugging a big jar of “Hunny” tied with a light blue bow. Disney Food Blog couldn’t decide whether he’s giving it or getting it, and honestly, same.
Flip it around and the pink shoulder straps have three little bees on them, each in its own Santa hat. The body is cream, with red and brown bands at the bottom.
Where can you buy the Pooh holiday Loungefly?
Disney Store’s website, for now. It’s part of the Disney Parks | Loungefly Collection, and Disney says it was “Created especially for” Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
That usually means park shops carry it, too. But we couldn’t find a report of it on shelves at either resort yet.
The specs, from Disney:
About 10.5 inches tall, 9 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep
Double-zip main pocket, two side pockets and a top handle
Adjustable padded straps
Silver-tone hardware and a Disney Parks x Loungefly logo plate on the side
Inspired by The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)
It doesn’t light up or glow. It’s just a very festive bear.
How does the price compare to other Disney holiday Loungeflys?
It’s at the very top. Disney Parks holiday mini backpacks have run from about $80 to $99 in recent years, going by WDW News Today’s reports:
2021: Walt’s Holiday Lodge, with Mickey and Minnie on a ski lift, $85 at Magic Kingdom
2024: a Mickey holiday lights mini at $79.99 and a fuzzy Snowman mini at $99
2025: a Peppermint Swirl mini at $90, plus a red-and-green plaid mini at Disneyland for $80
So Pooh beats the snowman by exactly $1, and he’s $10 more than last year’s peppermint bag, by our math.
The Mickey and Minnie holiday minis on Loungefly’s own site were $90 in September, as we reported Sept. 13.
What else is in Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Christmas collection?
The backpack dropped with a little Pooh holiday wardrobe on Disney Store, WDW News Today reported:
Winnie the Pooh and Pals Holiday Spirit Jersey: $79.99, pale green with “Warmest Winter Wishes” on the back
Winnie the Pooh and Pals Pullover Sweatshirt: $59.99, with Pooh as Santa, Tigger as an elf and Eeyore as a reindeer
“Ho! Ho! Ho Bother!” T-Shirt: $39.99
Holiday Jibbitz set for Crocs: $21.99 for four charms
There’s no matching wallet or ears that we could find.
Is there a mini Pooh Loungefly bag charm?
Yes, if you’re lucky. The Mickey Mouse and Friends Holiday Loungefly Mini Backpack Mystery Bag Charms cost $25 each at Disney Store.
Each blind box has one of six tiny backpack charms: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pooh or a mystery design. You can’t pick which one you get, and Disney won’t take returns.
So a $25 Pooh is about a 1-in-6 shot, assuming the boxes are packed evenly. Disney doesn’t say.
What other Disney Christmas Loungeflys came out this year?
A few, and Pooh isn’t even the only Santa:
Santa Mickey Mouse Loungefly Holiday Crossbody Bag and Coin Purse Set: $70 on Disney Store’s website. The coin purse is a Mickey-shaped peppermint swirl.
Mickey and Minnie holiday pieces on Loungefly’s website: $30 to $90, including a web-only ornaments mini backpack, as we reported in September.
BoxLunch exclusives: a Minnie Mouse candy cane mini and a Belle mini from Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, each $84.90, plus a light-up Cars holiday mini at $89.90.
Who owns Loungefly?
Funko, the Pop! figure company. It bought Loungefly in June 2017, according to Funko’s annual report.
Loungefly started in 1998 and was based in Chatsworth, California, when Funko bought it. It’s a big deal for Funko now. Loungefly products made up 17% of Funko’s $908.2 million in sales in 2025, the company’s annual report says.
That’s $155 million worth of Loungefly, down 9.8% from the year before, according to the same report.
What are some fun facts about Winnie the Pooh and Christmas?
“Hunny” is a classic spelling. Pooh’s honey pots have said “HUNNY” since A.A. Milne’s books in the 1920s, and Disney kept it.
Pooh had his own Christmas special. Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too aired on ABC in 1991.
The bag’s movie is older than most of its buyers. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh came out in 1977. It stitched together three Pooh shorts from 1966, 1968 and 1974.
The bees got Santa hats, too. Pooh spends most of his time raiding their honey, so dressing them up for Christmas feels like a peace offering.
At $100, it’s the kind of bag you justify by wearing it to the parks every December. Pooh would call that a very good reason.
