Disney Cruise Line is coming back to New York, and Northeast families will not need an airport to get on a Disney ship.
The Disney Wish will sail seven cruises from Manhattan between September 29 and November 5, 2027, visiting Bermuda, Canada, and New England during fall foliage season.
It’s the first time a Wish-class ship has sailed from New York, and Disney’s first New York season since fall 2023.
When you can book
Select Castaway Club members can book beginning Monday, August 31, 2026. General booking opens to everyone on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
New York sailings have historically sold quickly, and this season is small.
All seven Disney Wish sailings from New York
The itineraries run four to seven nights, with several carrying Disney’s Halloween on the High Seas programming:
September 29 — 4-night Bermuda, calling at King’s Wharf
October 3 — (Halloween on the High Seas) 5-night Canada and New England, calling at Saint John, New Brunswick, and Boston
October 8 — (Halloween on the High Seas) 6-night Bermuda and Canada, calling at King’s Wharf and Halifax
October 14 — (Halloween on the High Seas) 5-night Bermuda, calling at King’s Wharf
October 19 — (Halloween on the High Seas) 5-night Bermuda, calling at King’s Wharf
October 24 — (Halloween on the High Seas) 7-night Canada, calling at Charlottetown, Sydney, and Halifax
October 31 — 5-night one-way to San Juan via Bermuda, arriving November 5
The final sailing departs on Halloween and doesn’t come back to New York. It ends in Puerto Rico, where the Wish picks up two more departures.
What it costs
Pricing has surfaced for two of the itineraries, and it is not cheap.
For the 6-night Bermuda and Canada cruise departing October 8, an inside stateroom starts around $5,689. Oceanview runs about $6,109, verandah about $6,697, and concierge tops out near $12,817.
The 5-night Bermuda sailings on October 14 and 19 carry identical pricing to each other, starting around $4,865 inside, $5,215 oceanview, $5,805 verandah, and up to $11,190 for concierge.
Those figures come from early listings and may shift before booking opens.
This is a short season, not a new home port
Seven sailings across roughly five weeks is a limited run, not a permanent New York operation. The Wish arrives after completing a transatlantic crossing in September 2027, works the fall, then heads to San Juan.
New York has always been an occasional port for Disney rather than a year-round base like Port Canaveral. The last season, in fall 2023, ran nine sailings on the Disney Dream between late September and early November before the line left the city entirely.
Disney teased it with coordinates
Rumors started earlier this summer when the Manhattan Cruise Terminal website briefly showed “Disney” among its filter options, with a Disney ship appearing in a page header. Parks and cruise sites noticed immediately.
Disney then posted a series of coordinates on social media, six locations in all. One pointed at New York City. Another landed near Bermuda.
The listings went up on Disney Cruise Line’s website Tuesday, marked “coming soon.”
Why the Wish specifically matters
Since entering service in 2022, the Disney Wish has mostly run short Bahamian sailings out of Port Canaveral. It carries roughly 4,000 guests and is the flagship of the class that includes the Treasure, the Destiny, and the forthcoming Believe.
Northeast families who wanted to sail on it have needed a flight to Florida. For five weeks in 2027, they’ll need a train to Midtown.
More itineraries released beyond New York
Disney also opened fall 2027 and spring 2028 sailings elsewhere.
New departures are coming from ports in Puerto Rico, Panama, California, Texas, and Florida, with calls in Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Bahamas, plus Disney’s own Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay.
The Disney Believe, the fourth Wish-class ship, arrives in late 2027. A new class of smaller ships follows in 2029.
Disney last had a ship in New York Harbor in November 2024, when it christened the Disney Treasure there without sailing a season. Three years after that, the Wish will actually take passengers out.
