The Disney Adventure is adding the Duffy and Friends Bon Voyage Breakfast starting Oct. 15, WDW News Today reported on Oct. 9. It’s a character meal at the ship’s Hollywood Spotlight Club restaurant, and the characters come right to your table.
The Disney Adventure sails out of Singapore, so you’ll need to head to Southeast Asia for this one.
What do you get at the Duffy and Friends breakfast?
Breakfast, a visit from the characters and a pin. Every guest gets a special pin, and more pins will be sold if you want to finish the set, according to WDW News Today.
Disney Cruise Line Singapore’s video for the breakfast shows Duffy and LinaBell, the pink fox. The cruise line noted that character appearances are subject to change, though.
How do you book the Disney Adventure Duffy breakfast?
You book it once you’re on the ship. Reservations open Oct. 15 at Guest Services on Deck 6, or in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Reservations are required, space is limited and there’s an extra fee. WDW News Today’s report doesn’t list a price, so check the Navigator app for the cost once you’re on board.
Who is Duffy the Disney Bear?
Duffy is a teddy bear in a sailor suit, so a cruise ship is a pretty good fit.
In Disney’s story, Minnie Mouse made Duffy to keep Mickey company on his travels. She gave him the hand-sewn bear in a duffel bag, and that’s how Mickey came up with the name, according to Walt Disney Imagineering.
The bear is older than the story, though. Duffy first showed up at Walt Disney World in 2002 as “The Disney Bear,” for the opening of the Once Upon a Toy store. Two years later, he moved to Tokyo DisneySea, where Imagineers wrote his story and gave him his name.
That’s where he took off. Today, Duffy and his friends are some of the most popular Disney characters in Asia.

Gelatoni, a cat who paints
StellaLou, a bunny who dreams of being a dancer

LinaBell, a fox who solves mysteries
LinaBell is the newest. She debuted at Shanghai Disney Resort on Sept. 29, 2021.
What is the Hollywood Spotlight Club on the Disney Adventure?
It’s one of the ship’s main dining rooms, part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining. That’s the system where your group moves to a different themed restaurant each night.
The Hollywood Spotlight Club is a supper club themed to the golden age of Hollywood, according to Disney Cruise Line. At dinner, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy drop by as VIP guests. The Bon Voyage Breakfast gives Duffy and his friends a turn in the spotlight.
What else is on the Disney Adventure for Duffy fans?
A whole store, for starters. The ship has a Duffy and Friends shop, plus a show called Duffy and the Friend Ship on the Garden Stage, according to WDW News Today and DCL Fan.
Where does the Disney Adventure sail?
It sails three- and four-night cruises from Singapore. Right now, they’re all days at sea.
That changes soon. Select sailings from Dec. 31, 2026, through May 2027 will stop in Langkawi, Malaysia, Disney said.
The Disney Adventure is the biggest ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet, at more than 208,000 gross tons, Cruise Hive reported. Its official maiden voyage set sail from Singapore in March.
