General Mills and Dunkin’ are turning three famous cereals into coffee-shop orders this December, and one of them is a Walmart-only box. Here’s what’s coming and what’s inside.
Your morning coffee order is about to land in a cereal bowl. General Mills and Dunkin’ announced three limited-edition cereals on Monday, Nov. 2, and they’re built on brands you already know.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs and Golden Grahams are each getting a Dunkin’ drink makeover. The boxes start hitting shelves nationwide in December 2026.
And before anybody asks: no, there’s no coffee in them. The companies say the flavors are “coffee-inspired” only, with no coffee or caffeine in the box.
What are the three new Dunkin’ cereals?
Here’s the lineup from Monday’s joint announcement by General Mills and Inspire Brands, the company that owns Dunkin’:
Cinnamon Toast Crunch x Dunkin’ Cinnamon Caramel Latte: the classic cinnamon squares with caramel and creamy latte notes. Sold at stores nationwide.
Reese’s Puffs x Dunkin’ Peanut Butter Mocha: the chocolate and peanut butter puffs with a mocha latte twist. Sold at stores nationwide.
Golden Grahams x Dunkin’ Vanilla Graham Latte: honey graham squares with vanilla latte flavor. This one is a Walmart exclusive.
That Reese’s Puffs box is the one setting snack accounts on fire. Peanut butter and chocolate already taste like dessert. Add a mocha latte to it and you’ve basically got a candy-shop drink in cereal form.
The Golden Grahams version is the sleeper pick. Vanilla latte on a honey graham square sounds like the kind of thing you eat dry, straight out of the box, at 11 p.m.
When can you buy the Dunkin’ cereals, and how much do they cost?
The companies say the cereals start rolling out to stores in December 2026. They didn’t give an exact day, so expect them to trickle onto shelves store by store.
Prices and box sizes weren’t part of Monday’s announcement. We’ll know more once boxes show up.
These are also limited-edition flavors. If one turns into your new favorite, it might be smart to grab a spare box. Limited cereals have a way of vanishing right when you finally go back for more.
What did General Mills and Dunkin’ say about the team-up?
Megan Brooks, a business unit director at General Mills, called the boxes “a taste-forward breakfast experience with fun flavor profiles.” She said Dunkin’ was the right partner “to bring together two morning favorites in one delicious bowl.”
Brian Gilbert, vice president of retail business development at Inspire Brands, said fans “can’t get enough of their go-to Dunkin’ order.” He said the deal brings fan-favorite Dunkin’ drink flavors “beyond the cup and into the cereal bowl.”
So yes, this is officially happening.
Hasn’t Dunkin’ made cereal before?
It has, with a different cereal company. Back in 2020, Post rolled out Dunkin’ cereals in Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Latte flavors.
Those boxes did have a tiny bit of caffeine in them. ABC station 6abc reported at the time that a serving had about a tenth of the caffeine in a cup of coffee.
The 2026 lineup skips the caffeine entirely. That probably makes it an easier sell for families, since these are kid-favorite cereals to begin with. Nobody needs a second grader on a Reese’s Puffs mocha buzz before school.
This is also the first time Dunkin’ flavors have shown up on General Mills’ big-name cereal brands, as far as we can tell.
What else is Dunkin’ launching this month?
The cereal news lands right before Dunkin’s holiday menu.
Dunkin’ says its holiday lineup arrives at participating U.S. stores on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
That menu brings back the Cookie Butter and Toasted White Chocolate drinks. It also brings the chain’s “Donutcracker” holiday packaging.
The companies didn’t tie the cereals to the holiday menu, though. The boxes are their own thing, landing in December after the holiday drinks are already in stores.
Which Dunkin’ cereal should you try first?
If you only grab one, the Reese’s Puffs Peanut Butter Mocha feels like the safest bet. It’s the one built on the strongest flavor to begin with, and it’s the one people online are already hunting for.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch fans will probably be happy with the Cinnamon Caramel Latte. That brand already tastes like a cinnamon roll, so caramel is a short trip.
And if you’re near a Walmart, the Golden Grahams box could be the one that disappears first, since it’s only sold there.
We’ll keep an eye out for the first boxes on shelves and report back once we can get a spoon in one.
