Canned Dunkin’ Refreshers in Strawberry Dragonfruit, Pineapple Mango and Triple Berry turned up at a trade show, aimed at early 2027. Dunkin’ hasn’t confirmed them, and one flavor isn’t in stores.
Dunkin’ Refreshers, the fruity, caffeinated drinks Dunkin’ has sold since 2020, are reportedly headed for the grocery aisle in cans.
Three flavors were spotted at the NACS Show, a convenience-store trade show held in Las Vegas Oct. 7 to 9, Sporked reported on Oct. 12, crediting the snack-news accounts snackolator and SnackWire on X. The cans could arrive as soon as January 2027.
Dunkin’ hasn’t announced them yet, Sporked noted, so treat this as a strong leak until the chain confirms it.
What flavors are the canned Dunkin’ Refreshers?
Three, according to Sporked:
Strawberry Dragonfruit
Pineapple Mango
Triple Berry
All three reportedly have a lemonade base, caffeine, B vitamins and 70 calories a can.
Two of those flavors will look familiar to anyone who orders Refreshers at the drive-thru. The third won’t. Triple Berry isn’t on Dunkin’s in-store Refreshers lineup right now, according to the chain’s nutrition guide, so the cans may be the only place to get it.
There’s a small naming wrinkle, too. In stores, Dunkin’ calls it Mango Pineapple. The can reportedly flips it to Pineapple Mango.
When do canned Dunkin’ Refreshers come out?
Early 2027, possibly in January, Sporked reported. It’s “not clear yet where they’ll be sold,” Sporked added.
Nobody has said who’s making them, either. Keurig Dr Pepper and Coca-Cola both announced their 2027 lineups ahead of the NACS Show, and neither mentioned Dunkin’.
Price, can size and caffeine haven’t been reported.
NACS is short for the National Association of Convenience Stores, and its fall show is where a lot of next year’s snacks and drinks get their first look. Coca-Cola used this year’s show to preview Coca-Cola Cherry Lime and Strawberry Float for 2027, and Keurig Dr Pepper showed off Dr Pepper Ice Cream Float.
How do the cans compare to Dunkin’ Refreshers in stores?
The in-store drinks are a lot bigger, so the calorie gap is big too. From Dunkin’s nutrition guide, updated Sept. 21:
A medium Strawberry Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher is 230 calories, and a medium Mango Pineapple Lemonade is 240.
Made with green tea instead of lemonade, a medium Refresher is 130 calories.
Dunkin’ doesn’t list caffeine in its guide, but Tasting Table worked out the numbers in 2025.
How much caffeine is in Dunkin’ Refreshers?
It depends on the size and the base. Here’s how Dunkin’s caffeinated drinks stack up, from smallest to biggest jolt:
Small Refresher: about 66 mg (Tasting Table)
Singles To Go! stick: 80 mg (Dunkin’)
Medium Refresher: up to 99 mg, mostly from the green tea (Tasting Table)
Large Refresher: about 132 mg (Tasting Table)
Medium Dunkin’ Zero energy drink: 145 mg and 20 calories (Dunkin’)
Swapping the green tea for lemonade lowers the caffeine in a store-made Refresher, Tasting Table noted.
Can you already buy Dunkin’ Refreshers at the grocery store?
Sort of. In May, Dunkin’ and drink-mix maker Jel Sert brought Dunkin’ Refreshers Singles To Go! to stores nationwide.
They’re powder sticks you shake into a bottle of water.
The four flavors are Strawberry Dragonfruit Lemonade, Mango Pineapple, Kiwi Watermelon and Peach Passionfruit Lemonade. Each stick has 5 calories and 80 mg of caffeine, and they’re sold through Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop, Dunkin’ said.
Here’s Dunkin’s 2025 ad for its Pink Spritz Refresher:
Didn’t Starbucks already put Refreshers in cans?
Yes, more than a decade ago. Starbucks announced canned Refreshers in March 2012: lightly sparkling 12-ounce cans with 60 calories each, using green coffee extract for caffeine.
The first flavors were Raspberry Pomegranate, Strawberry Lemonade and Orange Melon, and Starbucks planned to have them in more than 160,000 stores and other outlets by the end of that April.
So if Dunkin’s cans land in January 2027, they’ll be showing up about 15 years after Starbucks’.
What Dunkin’ Refreshers are in stores right now?
Dunkin’s fall nutrition guide lists Strawberry Dragonfruit, Mango Pineapple, Berry Clementine and Berry Sangria Refreshers, plus Halloween drinks like Midnight Potion, Werewolf Punch and Dark Spell Daydream.
Triple Berry isn’t on it.
What’s next on Dunkin’s menu?
Marvel. Dunkin’s Avengers: Doomsday menu with Marvel Studios starts Nov. 4, and it includes a Wakandan Daydream Refresher, Dunkin’ announced.
Dunkin’ hasn’t announced a 2026 holiday menu yet. Last year’s, which started Nov. 5, 2025, included the Berry Sangria Refresher, which Dunkin’ called its first-ever holiday-inspired Refresher.
For coffee at home, Dunkin’s Frosted Sugar Cookie ground coffee and K-Cup pods are already listed on the Dunkin’ at Home site as a limited-edition holiday flavor. Those are sold by J.M. Smucker, which makes Dunkin’s at-home coffee under license.
What are some fun facts about Dunkin’ Refreshers?
They’re younger than you’d think. Dunkin’ launched Refreshers nationwide on June 17, 2020, with two flavors: Strawberry Dragonfruit and Peach Passion Fruit.
They started with a deal. A medium was $2 in that first launch promo.
Strawberry Dragonfruit has been there since day one. Six years later, it’s still on the menu, and it’s on the can list.
If Triple Berry turns out to be a hit, don’t be shocked if it shows up behind the counter next.
