Disney Vacation Club’s website got a makeover this month, and the old “Welcome” and “Sign out” links at the top are gone. The login now lives under “My DVC,” and no, “DVC Rental Store” isn’t Disney.
If you went to log into Disney Vacation Club lately and felt a little lost, you’re not imagining it.
The Disney Vacation Club website got a refresh around Sept. 10, and a few things members use all the time moved. The biggest one: the “Welcome” and “Sign out” links that used to sit at the top of the page are gone.
Your login still works the same way. It just lives in a different spot.
Where is the DVC login on the new website?
Look to the right side of the top menu for “My DVC.” That’s your way into your account, according to WDW News Today and DVC Shop.
The old full-width search bar is also gone. It’s been shrunk down to a small search icon that sits right next to “My DVC.”
DVC Shop reports that member logins and member tools weren’t changed. Same email, same password, same account. Nothing on your end needs updating.
What else changed on the DVC website?
The top menu got cleaned up to five dropdowns:
Discover Membership (it used to say “Explore Membership”)
Destinations
Member Benefits (it used to say “Offers & Benefits”)
Plan Vacation
Help & Contact
Each dropdown now opens into three columns: bold links with icons for the most popular pages, smaller links for everything else, and two featured picks with big photos on the right.
The DVC logo got a subtle tweak too. It’s a bit narrower now, and the Mickey globe that used to sit in the featured logo is gone.
The actual pages behind the menu didn’t change. Point charts, resort info and booking tools are where they were.
Why did the DVC website change?
Disney’s been giving its sites a new look. The Walt Disney World website got its own redesign in August, with simpler menus, and the DVC update follows the same playbook. DVC Shop called the DVC change mostly cosmetic.
Disney didn’t put out a statement about it, so the details come from members and DVC news sites that spotted the changes.
Is DVC Rental Store part of Disney?
No. DVC Rental Store is an independent company. Its own website says it’s “not affiliated with the Walt Disney Company.”
A lot of people mix these up because the names are so similar. Here’s how it breaks down:
Disney Vacation Club is Disney’s timeshare program. Members buy points and use them to book stays at DVC resorts.
DVC Rental Store is a third-party broker. It connects DVC members who want to rent out their points with people who want to book a DVC room without owning a membership.
Renting points through a broker is allowed. But Disney tightened its rules in March 2026. Its new commercial-use policy flags members who make more than 20 reservations in 12 months that they don’t use themselves, among other warning signs. Penalties can last up to 24 months and include canceled reservations and blocked benefits.
So if you rent DVC points, it’s smart to use an established broker and read the fine print.

March 31: Disney’s new commercial-use policy on renting points
September: Disney announced a new 11-month booking rule, which ended the old trick of “walking” a reservation to grab hard-to-get rooms
Around Sept. 10: The website refresh
Oct. 6: Booking opens for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, the newest DVC resort, which opens July 1, 2027
Put together, that’s a lot of change for one year. The website is the least painful piece of it. You just need to know where “My DVC” went, and now you do.
