Disneyland Resort will sell a Mickey Train Light-Up Popcorn Bucket for the 2026 holiday season. This is the same one teased for Hong Kong Disneyland.
A second design, a Toy Story gingerbread house, appeared in a Hong Kong Disneyland preview and has not been confirmed for any American park.
What the Mickey train popcorn bucket looks like
The confirmed one is a locomotive.
The bucket is white, teal green and red. Mickey sits on top in a Santa hat surrounded by presents, and the compartment beneath him opens to hold the popcorn.
One side features a reindeer alongside Pluto, wearing antlers.
Disney has confirmed it lights up, which is the detail that turns it from a snack container into something people keep on a shelf in December.
What the Toy Story gingerbread house bucket
It is modeled as a gingerbread house with an icing-covered rooftop and decorative detailing throughout.
Woody and Bo Peep appear on one side, with her sheep dressed as snowmen nearby. A Little Green Alien sits next to a Hamm cookie.
Coverage has described it as looking more like a Christmas decoration than a popcorn bucket.
Where the Toy Story bucket preview came from
The sourcing matters before anyone plans around it.
The images came from Instagram user @hkppltravell, who shared a preview of holiday novelties and food items headed to Hong Kong Disneyland later this year.
Disney has not announced the Toy Story gingerbread house bucket for Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World.
It may come stateside. Several Hong Kong novelty designs have. That is a possibility rather than a plan.

One more novelty is official.
Disneyland Resort has confirmed a Holiday Stitch Christmas Tree Sipper for the 2026 season.
Locations for both it and the Mickey train have not been announced.
The Grand Floridian gingerbread house is not returning
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World will not display its gingerbread house for 2026, according to Disney Food Blog.
The life-size structure has been a holiday fixture at the resort for decades, and its absence is a genuine loss for anyone who makes the trip to see it.
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in Anaheim will still have its seven-foot gingerbread house display.
What Christmas at Disneyland looks like this year
The 2026 lineup is largely a return of familiar programming.
The Holiday Toy Drummers perform in Paradise Gardens Park before relocating to Hollywood Land for “Mickey’s Happy Holidays.”
Select days bring “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” and “Mirabel’s Gift of the Seasons.” The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party returns.
Cars Land brings back its Haul-iday decor and the nightly Sh-boom transition, along with two ride overlays: Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
The Disney Festival of Holidays returns with six food and beverage marketplaces and the Sip and Savor Pass.
Santa meet-and-greets run at the Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel and the Grand Californian for guests not visiting the parks.
How Disney popcorn buckets actually work
Disney does not sell popcorn buckets online. They are in-park purchases only, which is why resale listings appear on eBay at marked-up prices.
A standard Walt Disney World bucket is available in all four parks year-round, with artwork updated periodically. It is the easiest to find and the least collectible.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios typically carries the widest selection of buckets and novelty sippers outside seasonal events.
Seasonal designs are produced in limited quantities and generally sell through the season. Disney has not announced pricing or release dates for either holiday bucket.
