EPCOT’s adults-only GEO-82 Fireworks Experience at Spaceship Earth switched from a flat $179 to date-based pricing of $179 to $194 per person, plus tax and tip, WDWMAGIC reported Oct. 6.
Champagne and fireworks at Spaceship Earth just got pricier on some nights.
Disney World moved the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience at EPCOT to date-based pricing, WDWMAGIC reported Tuesday, Oct. 6. A seat now costs $179 to $194 per person, plus tax and gratuity, depending on the date.
It used to be a flat $179. Disney’s page confirms the new range, but it doesn’t say which nights land at the top price.
What is the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience?
A fireworks party for grown-ups, right next to EPCOT’s giant golf ball. Guests 21 and up get:
Champagne picked by Disney World sommeliers, or event-only cocktails
A tasting tower of savory light bites before the show
A selection of sweets during Luminous The Symphony of Us, EPCOT’s nighttime fireworks show
It all happens at GEO-82, the lounge built alongside Spaceship Earth, with views of World Celebration Gardens and World Showcase Lagoon. Disney promises seated views of the fireworks from every spot. Here’s Disney’s behind-the-scenes look at Luminous:
Does the GEO-82 price include park tickets?
You still need one. Disney says theme park admission is required and isn’t included in the price, and a park reservation may be needed depending on the ticket.
So on a $194 night, a couple pays $388 before tax, tip or a single park ticket. For comparison, Disney World’s priciest one-day ticket, for peak dates in late 2027, went up to $229 the same day.
How do you book the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience?
Through Disney’s regular dining reservations, and the rules are strict. Disney calls space “extremely limited,” and reservations are required.
Check-in starts 60 minutes before Luminous begins. Everyone needs a photo ID showing they’re 21 or older.
There are no changes allowed once a reservation is confirmed. And cancellations follow a 24-hour rule: cancel within a day of the reservation, or don’t show up, and Disney charges the full price.
Fireworks aren’t guaranteed, either. Disney says to check the entertainment schedule two weeks before your visit, then again that day.
What does GEO-82 mean at EPCOT?
It’s a nod to EPCOT’s own history. “Geo” comes from Spaceship Earth’s geodesic sphere, and “82” is 1982, the year EPCOT opened, WDW News Today explained when Disney announced the lounge’s name in March 2025.
The lounge took over what used to be a private corporate lounge for Siemens, WDW News Today reported.
The show it overlooks is newer than the lounge’s name suggests. Luminous The Symphony of Us debuted Dec. 5, 2023, on what would have been Walt Disney’s 122nd birthday, and it’s been EPCOT’s nighttime show ever since.
When did the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience start?
June 4, 2025, at $179 a person, WDW News Today reported that April. So the price held for 16 months before Disney added the higher-priced dates.
The bottom of the range didn’t move. The top went up $15.
What else went up at Disney World on Oct. 6?
A lot, it turns out. Disney World raised ticket and annual pass prices the same day, and quick-service food went up 50 cents to $1 an item, WDWMAGIC reported. A regular cup of Joffrey’s coffee in the parks went from $4.29 to $4.99.
The Fantasmic! dining packages at Hollywood Studios went up too. The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant’s adult package rose from $59 to $62.
GEO-82 is the fancy end of all that. The $179 nights are still out there, too. Disney just isn’t saying which ones.
