More than 20 new products are reaching shelves now, including Reese’s Sweet & Salty, Cookies ‘N’ Creme Fangs, and Pirate’s Booty in Halloween shapes. Hershey calls it its largest seasonal portfolio ever.

Hershey unveiled its 2026 Halloween portfoliowith more than 20 seasonal products the company describes as its largest and most diverse lineup to date. Everything is rolling out to stores now.
The vampire Count returns joined by a Witch, and Hershey is pushing into salty snacks for the first time in any real way.
What’s new in Hershey’s 2026 Halloween candy
The chocolate side leads with returns and shapes.
Kit Kat Count & Witch brings back the breakaway spooky shapes, with the Count available solo in snack size and the Witch appearing in the king size bar. Hershey notes 38 percent of consumers count Kit Kat as a Halloween favorite.
Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Fangs returns in snack size, a fang-shaped take on the flavor.
Reese’s Pumpkins are back, as always. The Hershey Halloween All-Stars box bundles 18 full-size limited-edition shapes including Reese’s Pumpkins, Kit Kat Count & Witch, Kit Kat Ghost Toast, and Jolly Rancher Gummies Trickies.
An Amazon-exclusive Reese’s Pumpkin Bowl is also part of the lineup.
The gummy and sour additions
Hershey is expanding the fruity side and bringing in a brand it acquired.
The Sweets Assortment Stand-Up Bag introduces Sour Strips to Hershey’s seasonal portfolio for the first time, mixed with Jolly Rancher Gummies Trickies Minis, Jolly Rancher Gummies Minis, and Twizzlers Strawberry Twists.
Jolly Rancher Gummies Trickies return in snack-size sachets. The gimmick is that the colors deliberately do not match the flavors, across Green Apple, Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Grape, and Watermelon.
Hershey’s first Halloween salty snack push
This is the genuinely new category, and it reflects where the money has moved.
Pirate’s Booty Trick-or-Treat puts the aged white cheddar puffs in individually portioned packs. Pirate’s Booty Boos & Bites shapes them into ghosts and monsters.
SkinnyPop Halloween Packs and LesserEvil Pumpkin Spice Popcorn join in, alongside Spooky Popcorn and Spooky Spaceballs.
Reese’s Sweet & Salty bridges both sides with snack-size Dipped Animal Crackers, Dipped Pretzels, and Filled Pretzels.
Hershey’s reasoning is that families want non-candy options for class parties and trunk-or-treats, which is a real gap the candy aisle has never served well.
Why Hershey went this big for Halloween 2026
Hershey’s own research.
Its Unwrapping Halloween report found the season now stretches across roughly a third of the year, from Summerween through October 31, and that nearly two-thirds of parents buy Halloween candy during the summer.
On the company’s third-quarter earnings call, CEO Kirk Tanner said Halloween candy sales had started slower than usual, attributing part of it to Halloween landing on a Friday in 2025 and delaying the final sales push.
Halloween 2026 falls on a Saturday. A full weekend of parties and trunk-or-treats, a candy calendar that now runs from July, and the biggest seasonal lineup the company has ever shipped.
Pricing is set by individual retailers, so the shelf price will vary. The products are out now and Hershey says they run all season.
