The seasonal shelf at most grocery stores is currently holding two holidays at once.
Snack industry accounts that track store shipments have logged a wave of new arrivals over the past week, and several are already pointed past Halloween.

What new Philadelphia cream cheese flavors are out?
Three, and one of them is a Walmart exclusive for now.
Philadelphia Hot Honey is reportedly exclusive to Walmart, with wider distribution expected in January 2027. Salted Caramel and Cranberry Orange are turning up at major retailers that carry the brand.
Kerrygold items in the same category are also reported as Walmart exclusives.
Cranberry orange cream cheese in September is the clearest signal in the batch. That is a Thanksgiving-through-Christmas flavor arriving before the pumpkins go out.
What new snacks are at Walmart?
A batch of dessert bars, plus bakery items.
New dessert bars are reported in banana pudding and strawberry varieties, alongside Blossoms and pumpkin spice cookies.
Walmart has expanded its own-brand snack lineup aggressively this year, and the pace of new items has picked up noticeably through the fall.
Is Magic Masala Lay’s back?
Reportedly yes, rolling into stores now for a limited time.
The flavor has appeared in the U.S. before as a limited run and developed a following well beyond its original market. Limited flavor returns tend not to be announced, which is why they get spotted on shelves before anyone hears about them officially.

Reese’s has a Reindeer Mix that has appeared in online listings without a release date, and Sour Patch Kids has a build-your-own snowman kit.
Ocean Spray has a Cranberry Cider listed for October, already up for preorder.
Why are Christmas snacks out before Halloween?
Shelf space, mostly.
Seasonal grocery is one physical endcap in most stores, and it turns over on a schedule set months ahead. Halloween candy ships in August, holiday items ship in October, and the transition happens whether or not the previous holiday has occurred yet.
The compression has gotten more noticeable as both seasons have expanded. Pumpkin spice arrived in mid-August this year, and Christmas items land in late October, which leaves fall with a shrinking window of its own.
A flavor spotted this week may not be there in three weeks, and the seasonal items in particular ship once.
