The 7 to 8:45 p.m. block popped back onto EPCOT's January 2027 schedule one day after it vanished. It's the second time since 2023 the evening shows disappeared and returned within days.
Never mind. Impressions de France keeps its evening shows at EPCOT in 2027 after all.
The film's 7 to 8:45 p.m. showtime window is back on Walt Disney World's schedule for every date listed so far in January 2027, BlogMickey, WDW News Today and WDWMagic reported Tuesday, Nov. 3. The morning window, 9 to 9:30 a.m., stays put.
That's a reversal from Monday. When the 2027 dates first loaded, the schedule showed only morning showings, and we reported the film was losing its evening shows. That report reflected what Disney's schedule listed at the time. A day later, the evening block is back.
BlogMickey, which spotted the gap first, said then that it might be an error. The quick fix makes that look likely. Disney hasn't explained either change and didn't answer BlogMickey's request for comment. WDWNT put it simply: Disney has "now corrected the website."
And yes, this has happened before. In March 2023, the evening showings vanished on March 7 and came back on March 10. This time the do-over took about a day. Progress!
Here's a look at Impressions de France at EPCOT:
What are the Impressions de France showtimes in 2027?
As of Nov. 3, the schedule for Jan. 1 through Jan. 13, 2027, shows:
Morning: 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Evening: 7 to 8:45 p.m.
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along: takes over the theater in between and wraps at 6:30 p.m.
Showings run continuously during each window, and the film lasts about 18 minutes. BlogMickey said the restored evening block matches the schedule Disney already shows through Dec. 31, 2026.
One perk of the evening slot: it ends 15 minutes before Luminous The Symphony of Us, which is listed at 9 p.m. every night through Jan. 13. Watch France on the big screens, then go grab a spot by the lagoon.
What about EPCOT's late-opening days in January?
EPCOT opens at 10 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. on Jan. 7, 9 and 10. On Monday, those three days had no Impressions de France showings at all. Now they have the full evening window.
Here's the weird part. The app still lists 9 a.m. showings on those dates, even though regular guests can't get in until 10. BlogMickey's advice is to plan on the evening shows those days, which seems wise. The Sing-Along starts at 11 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. on those dates.
How old is Impressions de France?
As old as EPCOT. The film opened with the park on Oct. 1, 1982, in the France pavilion's Palais du Cinema.
It plays on five side-by-side screens for a 200-degree view of France, from the chateaux of the Loire Valley to Versailles, Normandy markets and Bastille Day. Buddy Baker arranged the score, which pulls from French composers including Debussy, Offenbach and Saint-Saens.
Disney closed the film in October 2019 for upgrades. It came back in January 2020 with a 4K remaster and a new roommate, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, which got most of the theater's daytime hours.
Why do Impressions de France fans keep checking the schedule?
Because the schedule keeps moving. Since 2020, the film has worked a split shift, mornings and evenings, while Belle and friends take the afternoon.
It also closed for a refurbishment in February 2026 and reopened in May, alongside the Sing-Along. Then came Monday's scare, and Tuesday's fix.
For now, the 2027 schedule only runs through mid-January. We'll keep an eye on it as more dates load, because apparently somebody has to.
