Jack in the Box’s Marvel meal comes with three dipping sauces, a mystery Assemble Sauce and one of eight Avengers: Doomsday magnets. Here’s what’s in the box and when to go.
Jack in the Box is going full Marvel. The chain announced Tuesday, Oct. 27, that its Doomsday Dipping Box, a tie-in with Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday,” hits restaurants on Thursday, Nov. 5.
It’s a limited-time deal at participating Jack in the Box locations nationwide, plus the Jack app and JackintheBox.com. The press release says it’s available “while supplies last,” which is fast-food for “don’t wait until January.”
Jack in the Box didn’t list a price or an end date.
What comes in the Jack in the Box Doomsday Dipping Box?
It’s a sampler built for dunking. Each box comes in movie-themed packaging and has:
Popcorn Chicken
Two mozzarella sticks
Two tacos
Seasoned curly fries
A drink
So it’s a little bit of everything, which feels right for a movie that’s cramming roughly every Avenger into one film.
What are the three Avengers dipping sauces?
This is where the Marvel puns live. The box comes with three sauces:
Assemble Sauce, a brand-new “mystery sauce”
Mutant Marinara, a returning limited-time marinara
Fantastic Buttermilk Ranch, which is Jack’s classic ranch with a superhero name tag
Nobody outside the company knows what’s in Assemble Sauce yet, and Jack in the Box isn’t saying. Expect a lot of taste-test videos on Nov. 5.
Mutant Marinara also comes with the returning mozzarella sticks, sold in four- or six-piece orders. And Popcorn Chicken is back on the regular menu too, in small and big boxes and as a combo, for anyone who wants the chicken without the whole Marvel production.
How do the Avengers: Doomsday magnets work?
Here’s the collector bait. Every Doomsday Dipping Box comes with one of eight special-edition magnets inspired by the movie. Each one is packed at random in a blind bag, so you won’t know which one you’ve got until you open it.
The magnets fit together like puzzle pieces. Get all eight and you can build the full picture on your fridge. Get three of the same one and, well, you’ll have a lot of fridge friends.
“At Jack in the Box, we don’t just tap into fandoms, we collide them,” said Katelyn Zborowski, the chain’s chief marketing officer. In the release, she said the magnets give fans another reason to keep coming back.
Translation: plan on a few trips if you want the set.
When does Avengers: Doomsday come out?
“Avengers: Doomsday” opens in theaters Friday, Dec. 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo are directing, and Robert Downey Jr. is back in the MCU, this time as Doctor Doom.
That gives Jack in the Box about six weeks of runway before the movie lands. Here’s Marvel’s official trailer:
Is Dunkin’ doing an Avengers: Doomsday menu too?
Yep. Jack in the Box isn’t the only chain in this fight. Dunkin’ announced its own “Avengers: Doomsday” lineup earlier this month, and it starts one day earlier, on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Dunkin’s menu leans into drinks and doughnuts. It includes an Iced Captain’ccino, a Wakandan Daydream Refresher, Optic Blast Lemonade, a Doom Cloud Latte, a Doomsday Donut and an Avenging Donut. Dunkin’ is also selling collectibles, including a Doctor Doom Munchkins tin that’s $14.99 with a 25-count Munchkins order, according to its newsroom.
So the first week of November is shaping up as a Marvel food fight. Breakfast at Dunkin’, dinner at Jack, a mystery sauce and a fridge full of magnets.
How many Jack in the Box restaurants are there?
Jack in the Box says it runs and franchises about 2,125 restaurants in 22 states. The San Diego chain is strongest out West and in Texas, so not everyone has one close by.
If you’re near one, the app is probably the easiest way to check whether your location is taking part, since the release says “participating” restaurants only.
It’s also a busy stretch for movie meals in general. McDonald’s brings back Pokemon Happy Meals on Nov. 10, so your kids’ fridge could be loaded with magnets and their shelves with mini toys before Thanksgiving even shows up.
