Jeni's first-ever holiday novelties include a Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownie J-Bar with cayenne in the chocolate. The new Sticky Toffee Pudding pint is $17 on Jeni's website.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams put a British dessert in a pint. The Columbus, Ohio, company's 2026 holiday collection reached scoop shops Wednesday, Nov. 4, led by a new Sticky Toffee Pudding flavor and Jeni's first-ever holiday novelties.
Sticky Toffee Pudding is vanilla and date custard with brown sugar cake and buttery toffee sauce, according to Jeni's release. Jeni's website lists it at $17 a pint, with free shipping in the contiguous U.S.
The novelties are the real change. Until this year, Jeni's holiday flavors came by the pint or the scoop. Now two come as handhelds in grocery store freezers.
Jeni's own pitch calls dates a trending seasonal ingredient. Fair enough. Dates are having a moment, and toffee sauce never hurt anybody.
What are Jeni's 2026 holiday ice cream flavors?
Six limited-edition pints make up the Splendid Holiday Collection. One is new, and five are back:
Sticky Toffee Pudding (new): vanilla and date custard, brown sugar cake and buttery toffee sauce
White Chocolate Peppermint: a pink and white peppermint swirl with white chocolate freckles
Pistachio Macaron: roasted pistachio cream with a savory finish and a honey, nougat-like texture
Boozy Eggnog: egg custard spiked with nutmeg and whiskey, sold in pints only
Cranberry Panettone with Chocolate Sprinkles: brioche-scented custard with cranberry-orange jam
Black Tie Tiramisu: a mocha and mascarpone swirl with ladyfinger cookies and chocolate drizzle
Sporked reported the Boozy Eggnog gets its kick from Uncle Nearest whiskey. Its writer gave the flavor a 10 out of 10 in an earlier review.
Black Tie Tiramisu has good timing, too. Starbucks' new Tiramisu Velvet Latte lands Thursday, Nov. 5. Tiramisu is apparently the official dessert of holiday 2026.
What are Jeni's first holiday novelties?
Two handheld treats are new this year, and they're the first holiday novelties Jeni's has made:
Buttercream Sugar Cookie ice cream sandwich: buttercream frosting ice cream between vanilla sugar cookies with rainbow sprinkles
Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownie J-Bar: dark chocolate-cayenne and Mexican vanilla-cinnamon ice creams with chewy brownies
Yes, there's cayenne in the ice cream bar. That's how Mexican hot chocolate works, and it's the most interesting thing in this year's lineup.
J-Bars are Jeni's line of ice cream bars, and this is the first holiday version. The sugar cookie sandwich, meanwhile, is basically a holiday cookie swap in frozen form.
Where can I buy Jeni's holiday ice cream?
It depends on what you want:
Pints: Jeni's scoop shops nationwide and Jenis.com, while supplies last. Sporked reported online orders opened Oct. 20, with early access for Jeni's Rewards members.
Novelties: major grocery chains, including Kroger and Whole Foods Market
Buttercream Sugar Cookie sandwiches: also at Target and Harris Teeter, and already at Costco stores in the Southeast
Jeni's didn't list prices for the novelties. Scoop shop pint prices may differ from the website, so check your local shop.
Can I send Jeni's holiday ice cream as a gift?
Yes. Jeni's ships pints frozen in an insulated box with dry ice to all 50 states and Washington, D.C., and its website has a holiday gifts section.
Crate & Barrel also lists a Jeni's 6-Pint Holiday Ice Cream Collection for $68. That box mixes Boozy Eggnog, White Chocolate Peppermint and Pistachio Macaron with year-round flavors like Darkest Chocolate and Gooey Butter Cake.
Just maybe don't send the Boozy Eggnog to your nephew. Ice cream for the grown-ups.
What is sticky toffee pudding, anyway?
It's a British dessert, and it's not pudding the way Americans think of it. It's a moist sponge cake made with chopped dates and covered in toffee sauce, often served warm with custard or vanilla ice cream.
Jeni's basically flipped the order. The ice cream is the base, and the cake and toffee sauce are the mix-ins. Jeni's product page sums up the inspiration as "fluffy date sponge cake covered in toffee sauce."
The flavors are around while supplies last, and Jeni's hasn't said when the holiday pints leave shops. If Sticky Toffee Pudding is the one you want, don't wait for Christmas Eve.
