The global girl group’s documentary hits Disney+ and Hulu on Friday, and Disney marked it with a Mickey and Minnie Mouse KATSEYE clothing line sold through Complex.
KATSEYE fans, clear your Friday night.
KATSEYE: Wild Hearts, the documentary about the global girl group, starts streaming on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S. on Friday, Oct. 16, according to Disney. It arrives on Disney+ internationally the same day.
Disney didn’t stop at the movie. A new Disney x KATSEYE clothing line starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse went on sale Thursday, Oct. 15, exclusively at Complex, LaughingPlace reported.
Here’s the official trailer from KATSEYE, released in July ahead of the film’s theatrical run:
What is KATSEYE: Wild Hearts about?
The group’s rise, and the fans who pushed it there. Disney describes the film as a look at KATSEYE’s “bold new era” that also celebrates the fans who helped make it possible.
It includes never-before-seen footage, videos from the group’s fans, known as EYEKONS, and interviews with the members, according to Disney’s announcement.
The story runs from the pressure of Dream Academy to the group’s viral success, including “the highs, setbacks, sacrifices, and breakthrough moments,” Disney said.
Disney calls the film “a love letter to the EYEKONS who helped build this movement.” Its pitch also name-checks praise for the group from The New York Times, Vogue, Rolling Stone and Billboard.
Who made KATSEYE: Wild Hearts?
Nadia Hallgren directed it. Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures produced it, in partnership with HYBE x Geffen, Disney said.
The streaming release follows a limited theatrical run of the film.
Who is KATSEYE?
A global girl group created by HYBE, the South Korean company behind BTS, and Geffen Records, WDW News Today noted. The members were picked through the 2023 competition series The Debut: Dream Academy, and the group debuted in June 2024.
Netflix followed that competition in its docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, which got its trailer in August 2024.
Disney calls KATSEYE GRAMMY-nominated and record-breaking. The group’s third EP, WILD, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and KATSEYE: The Wildworld Tour kicked off in September, according to Disney’s Sept. 23 announcement.
What’s in the Disney x KATSEYE collection?
Classic Mickey and Minnie art, plus KATSEYE logos. Here’s the lineup, with prices from WDW News Today:
Mickey & Minnie Unisex Zip Hoodie: $100
Mickey & Minnie Unisex T-Shirt: $45
Mickey & Minnie Unisex Ringer T-Shirt: $45
Minnie Bubble Unisex Raglan: $55

Mickey & Minnie Tote Bag: $45
It’s sold only at Complex.com, while supplies last. The collection went live at 9 a.m. Pacific, or noon Eastern, on Oct. 15, LaughingPlace reported.
The hoodie shows Mickey and Minnie sitting back to back above a KATSEYE logo surrounded by stars and swirls, WDWNT reported. The tank top is black with white polka dots and a jumping Minnie.
A few pieces pull in other classic touches. The basic tee fills the KATSEYE block letters with Minnie’s red-and-white polka dots, and the crop baby tee puts Figaro, Minnie’s tuxedo cat, next to her.
The tote has classic Mickey and Minnie walking hand in hand, with aqua KATSEYE logos on the strap, according to WDWNT.
What did Disney say about the KATSEYE collection?
Bobby Kim, Disney’s VP and global creative director, tied it to the film.
“As audiences get to experience KATSEYE’s journey through KATSEYE: Wild Hearts, this collaboration offers fans another way to connect with the group’s creativity and authenticity,” Kim said, according to LaughingPlace.
Disney and Complex have teamed up with music acts before, including BLACKPINK, WDWNT noted.
LaughingPlace said the collection is aimed at both music fans and Disney collectors, which is a pretty big Venn diagram these days.
How do you watch KATSEYE: Wild Hearts?
Stream it on Disney+ or Hulu in the U.S. starting Oct. 16. Outside the U.S., it’s on Disney+.
You’ll need a subscription to either service, on its own or as part of a bundle.
The hoodie costs $100. The documentary comes with the subscription.
